I totally want City Lights on blu ray.

Is Design for Living a confirmed title? Although there's better Lubitsch out there, woudlnt mind seeing that on blu.

It was confirmed way back in June 2010, but nothing since then.

quite a few Hitchcock references via Twitter so I'd be willing to bet we get a Blu-ray upgrade to one of his titles

I'm thinking Hitchcock is too big a name for December, but I'd love to be wrong.

So Lady Vanishes blu. Like Amarcord I am very happy I held off on the upgraded DVD's that came out in 2006.

This is excellent. I never purchased either Criterion DVD of The Lady Vanishes. They've been rolling out great announcements lately, including well-deserved BD upgrades of their DVD releases.

More Hitchcock on BD is sorely needed.

I'm happy with any Hitchcock we get on Blu-ray. Lady Vanishes will be a good upgrade.

I've been holding off on that and THE 39 STEPS for years.

They do seem to be releasing the Chaplins at a glacial place.
