There's a Total Recall: Special Edition planned for July 31. I'm guessing it'll be remastered.

Remastered, wouldn't count on it. However, if it has all of the extras from the 2-disc dvd, I'm on board.

This was definitely one that I regret having upgraded. The quality was probably inferior to the DVD

A remastered bluray has been released in several countries in Europe, so it's not that unlikely, plus the one special feature that's been announced for it is on all the foreign versions.

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV

WB continues to dwarf Sony and others with their catalog releases. 6 more budget titles are arriving on August 14:

Cradle 2 the Grave
Fallen
A Man Apart
New Jack City
Romeo Must Die
Shaft

I'll probably get Fallen.

Should've been a triple feature, with Big Score and In Africa, but I'm def in for Shaft.

For BD optimists only:

Digitally Remastered Print - Robocop

This could lead to a new BD next year to tie-in with the upcoming remake.

Someone will definitely release something! Also saw a post on BR.com that another 87 film, Masters of the Universe is being prepped. (personal gripe - a 4th transformers film on the way and 2 GI:Joes, we are beyond due for He-Man to return!)

Sunset Blvd, and maybe Barbarella depending on pricing. How's that for yin and yang?

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV

I'm not sure anyone will be excited about this, but DVD Empire has a release date of August 7 for Evan Almighty.
