Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV
^ wonder what the bluray version will be: 'film burn out' or 'channel flipping' ? oh wait, was that for 'Gremlins 2' ? Oh Warner's just release both.

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV
I will rent Rudo & Cursi before determining whether or not a purchase is worth it, I will wait on reviews to see if Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead are good upgrades over the HD DVD's, and I will definitely purchase Grindhouse even though I already own the extended director's cuts on Blu-ray and those were upgrades over the DVD's. I wonder if the new release will be just the theatrical version or if it will include both versions? I'm kinda pissed off about it, really, but I love the film so I won't complain too much.
I gathered it didnt' do that well theatrically (here in the states), but I'd give it a rent.

Wallace and Gromit: The Complete Collection is up for pre-order at Amazon (no street date though) and I wonder if its really "complete" - with the most recent short: 'A Matter of Loaf and Death'

So happy about a Blu-Ray release of Grace
Caught the film at the San Francisco Film Fest this year and loved it.
Good to see that the disc will have (what looks to be) all of the extras that Paul Solet mentioned at Fangoria L.A this year. He said that he pretty much documented the entire process of filming Grace to be used for extras for the DVD/BD later.

Stop Making Sense! I hope they include both 5.1 mixes in lossless (though just the theatrical mix would be acceptable to me).

I'm still wondering how Kong survived such a long fall from atop the Empire State Building.
...
and look, Aslan has a cameo

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York --> October 6th
Good news for those who've been waiting years for a reissue of this in 16:9, now getting bypassed straight to a Blu-ray release!
Haven't seen this in YEARS, I have to say the first one is one of very few films I enjoyed when I was younger that still holds up. John Hughes' last good movie too. I like it, a lot more mean spirited than the first but still good.
