Well, you must be one happy rabbit.

Hey, wait a minute.

I guess I'm not really getting the back-up for Casablanca.

Wasn't it reported that was one of the titles on hd-dvd that sold 500 copies or less?

How many of those 500 are actually participating in this program? I doubt it's more than the 20-40 people who have posted here (including me) who are taking advantage of the program.

They received my covers more than 2 weeks ago, but my credit card hasn't even been charged yet - feels like people are getting theirs a lot sooner than me.

Well, the good news is I got all my Blu-rays delivered yesterday. The bad(odd) news is the Matrix Collection was sealed, but all the discs in the cases were missing except the 2 Matrix Experience DVDs. The only discs in the set I have zero interest in.

I called customer support yesterday. The guy said his supervisor would call me today or tomorrow. I'm curious how this will end. Are they going to believe me or think I'm trying to rip them off??

The supervisor never called me back, so I called red2blu again last night. The guy said their system shows that another copy of the Matrix collection is being sent to me.

I have the Casablanca HD, but I didn't do it because:

-I wanted to keep the original cover art
-I already had the BD box as well

Did you order Planet Earth? This may just be anecdotal, but I've yet to see someone post saying they received Planet Earth.

No, they had already pulled Planet Earth from the offer when I did it.

I'm still waiting for Casablanca....apparently they did NOT get stock this weekend....hopefully soon.

They received my covers on April 29th also.

A lot of people probably bought Casablanca when they found out they could do the trade for the fancy Blu version. And its not too expensive from Inet and their ilk.

Did you call them? Their reps are very friendly and helpful. Surprisingly so, in fact.

I also am waiting on my order due to Casablanca. I am not sure, but I think my HDDVD came from one of the 5 free disc offers.

I know I had to open it to take the cover out (for the mail-in). I took a business trip a couple of months ago and took my DVD copy (which I had retained).

I can wait for what I am paying for the offer. I really wanted the BD of Casablanca, but didn't want to buy the expensive set (just wanted the movie). I will gladly take it for $4.95.

Looks like they pulled Casablanca from the list of titles eligible for the red2blu program.

Oh, it's on their red2blu2red.com website they just created. Where WB saves you the trouble of even upgrading. See, you have Casablanca, you think of upgrading, but then find out they don't even have it.

So hey, you immediately saved yourself the time and money to get the Blu version.

Still waiting to be charged on my CC. Darn Casablanca.....oh well, all the movies I sent in were from the free promotion. I had two sets of 5. Now I just wait...maybe this coming week they will get the final Casablanca stock to ship out.

I agree. For some reason it's on some infinite loop or something, lol.

hey all, I selected a few movies to upgrade to blu ray yesterday and I got a e-mail with the usps postage label. My question is that the label has my name but for the return address it has 1000 austin ct in MI instead of my address.

Is this correct? My return address isnt anywhere on this. I just want to make sure that they have the right address to sent the blu ray movies too.

Yes. They put one of their addresses on the return so that if there's any problem with postage (or whatever) then it still ends up with them. That way you're covered no matter what.

Maybe a dumb question but what kind of envelope did everyone mail theirs in? A bubble?

Covers Received in MI: 30Apr

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

The top half of the printed out label is the part that I put on the envelope correct?

Isny 05-18-09 09:01 PM

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Just a heads up as I missed it if it's already been mentioned, but the Ultimate Matrix Collection is on back order and will slow down your order if you sent it in.

Out of the 15 or so I sent in, that's the only one on back order.
