Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program
"Well, I found out CASABLANCA is the title that is on backorder for my order. They said it should be in stock "soon""
I also called last night and found out Casablanca is holding it up but was told it should be in stock before friday and mine would be shipped then. |

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program
I've been worried since I mailed my package in almost 3 weeks ago and still no confirmation email. I called today and they told me my order was shipped yesterday, due to arrive on 5/18. Matrix: UE set and HP5.
So, for those of you still waiting, I suggest making a call. Their cust service reps are VERY friendly. |

Now I wonder if they will eventually add the new 300 Blu-ray edition... like in Sept or so. It would be cool to upgrade the HD DVD to that version.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program
Just mailed mine in. Although I realized as I was doing so that the HP set I got from inetvideo, the Year One case reads "philosopher's stone," so I don't know if that's gonna mess me up or not. We shall see.

Good luck. |

What is everyone doing with their old HD-DVDs? Just keeping them or trying to sell? I hope Universal follows suit and offers up a similar program. |
Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program
Keeping them. Too much of a hassle to sell discs for the small return. I have one of those kick-ass color copiers at work that pretty much made perfect dupes of the covers before I sent them off and I used the paper cutter to trim them. You'd never be able to tell the difference.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program
I think I'm gonna do the sleeve thing and keep the HD DVD disc inside the Blu-ray case. I don't need multiple copies of HD DVD and Blu-ray movies taking up precious shelf space.

That is a solid idea though. |
Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program
i plan on using my digital copy bluray disc cases, throwing the digital copy away and storing the hd with the bluray. and i'm still waiting on 2 orders.

I hope to get my discs soon...still waiting to be charged. Darn Casablanca holding up my order. |

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program
Just got mine today. Sent the covers on the 4th, received on the 8th, and at my house on the 14th. Nice.
One I DIDN'T get yet was the Matrix Trilogy. GUess I'll be calling customer service on that one. |
Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program
Mine are in process. They listed one as on backorder, I'm guessing that is the Matrix collection.

Good thing I'm patient. ;) |
Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program
Well, the good news is I got all my Blu-rays delivered yesterday. The bad(odd) news is the Matrix Collection was sealed, but all the discs in the cases were missing except the 2 Matrix Experience DVDs. The only discs in the set I have zero interest in.
I called customer support yesterday. The guy said his supervisor would call me today or tomorrow. I'm curious how this will end. Are they going to believe me or think I'm trying to rip them off?? Anyone else happen to get no discs with their Matrix collection? |
Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program
I think my order is waiting on Casablanca. What phone number are you all calling?
