When you say "buried in a second page", what do you mean exactly?

I buy fairly often on the Amazon Marketplace, and am unfamiliar with a second page, unless you mean the extra info sometimes in the "click for more info" section.

that's what he's referring to, the "MORE INFO" link.

I've only listed Ultimate Matrix so far on half.com since it is complete, so I also have a dilemma about how (or if) to list the remaining HD-DVDs. I'm pretty sure that I won't list them as Like New due to the copied cover art.

I'm glad they settled it , but personally, I can't imagine ever buying something without opening up that extra text to see the full description. It's not an entire second page, but just a continuation of the one small section Amazon gives us to describe things.

But I also agree, that in a perfect world, a seller would put something like that early in the description. Also would definitely put it under the used category (which may have been the case).

In the sellers's defense, people are way too quick to leave a negative. Communicate for awhile and let tempers cool before resorting to that.

All this is my completely unsolicited opinion, directed more to transactions in general and not this specific case. Again, nice to see you're working it out.

I agree, but this item was on Half.com, which is a place I had never shopped before. Half.com is not like Amazon where you can just click "more info" to expand the description. You have to go to a separate page by clicking "more info", which happens to be in an entireley different spot than the seller's comments. Something I was not aware of being a first time buyer.

I agree. I rushed to judgement far too quickly. My anger about the item coupled with having a very bad day to begin with led me to a stupid decision. I'm going to do all I can to revise or remove that negative feedback from the seller's profile. I feel especially bad now knowing that the seller was a DVDTalk member.

Thanks for agreeing to the refund and changing your feedback. Hope you're having a better day today.

Yeah, I was on the fence between listing them as 'Like New' and 'Very Good'. All my discs and cases are in perfect shape and I made the copies of the inserts on our commercial printer here at work, so they look pretty much identical to the originals. I ended up going with 'Like New' and the disclaimer about the insert, as I figured an HD DVD owner looking to expand their collection would consider them to be in that condition.

Got HP, Ultimate Matrix and Casablanca from inetvideo. All have the proper things needed for the upgrade.

Also looks like another title or two was removed from the site.

You can always get an Amerifriend to submit them for you.

I had someone do that for me, and then I printed out the USPS pre paid sticker, threw Canadian stamps on it, and mailed out the covers.

Did you mail the covers to WB, or to your Amerifriend to send for you? I am thinking about doing the same, because i have no confidence in this every coming to Canada.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

I went ahead and ordered some 2 disc BD cases from a seller on Amazon. I figure this way I can keep the HD DVD version of movies like Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix that have features not on the BD version. If I feel like watching the In Movie Experience I still have it available and also for the combo discs so I still have the DVD version in case I ever want to watch it on my portable DVD player or something. All the other discs I will probably give away. I have a couple of friends with HD DVD players on the Xbox so they can have a few more movies to watch.

I mailed the covers in myself. They give you a prepaid RMA sticker, so I stuck that on and then paid postage, as it gives you the standard "postage paid if mailed in the U.S.".

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Received my BD Ocean's set today (05.05)... about a week after tracking showed WB receiving my slipcover.

Shipped via UPS Ground from Michigan in a brown bubble mailer (I know some folks aren't going to like that, but no damage on this end).

Factory sealed, new product. No slashed or drilled-out UPC.

Quick photo:

They got mine on the 28th as well (had 23 items on mine, might slow them down a bit)...

Luck all

I'm curious, did you receive any notice from them, either that they received your submissions or that they had shipped your Blu Rays?

No. I know they received my submission on 4.27 from the USPS tracking number on the return label.

My credit card was charged on 5.01 and the invoice is dated the same.

It's been almost two weeks since I sent in my covers and there's no word on WB having received them yet. How long is it supposed to take?

That's a pretty good turn around time, 4/27 received and charged 5/1, that's only 4 days.

Unfortunately, they received mine on 4/28 and it has now been 7 days, (two weekend days) with no charge yet on my card. I did have a few more items than you though, 1 vs. 23.

As far as I know, you are the first reporting that you received anything from this promotion, congrats. I will post back when I hear anything, either a charge or a delivery.

George

Didn't they say 4-6 weeks? 2 weeks is pretty damn good!

They received my covers 4/28, but my card hasn't been charged yet. I had 15 items, so I'll just keep waiting. They get another month before I begin to worry.

How did you pay for it? It looks like you need an American issued credit card to take part.
