Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

My covers arrived at the warehouse yesterday. They said it would take 2-3 before they get processed. Sigh.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Just got this from WB...

Hi tlwizard:

Thank you for your inquiry.

You can send in either the box with the UPC code or the Matrix Revolutions for the exchange. The reason that we offered the alternative to the box with the sticker is, so many people have lost or torn off or thrown away the box.

Take care and thank you for shopping with us.

Yeah, I'm curious what is on BACKORDER....apparently Casablanca is NOT since many people got that already. Maybe Batman Begins...who knows....kinda sucks.

Cool, that sounds promising. Except for them referring to the "box", as the UPC is not really on the box itself, just the paper that was shinkwrapped to it. Ah what the hell, I'm going to try to send the paper in and see what happens.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Yeah... I sent in the back part.

My box arrived at their processing facility today... pretty impressive: 2 days from Austin, TX.

Hopefully the BDs get here before the 30th as I'm moving to a new apartment in town, lol.

That is impresive Rob - I sent mine from a North Austin postal facility and it took a week. Maybe that branch is just slow....I hope for a quick turnaround though.

Also, WB will ship out all BD's at once if things are on backorder....so, people who have a LOT of discs, may be waiting for a while. I know they received my covers on the 29th (and still no CC charge on the 8th). I'm curious how long this will be until they have STOCK for this promotion.

I think with First Class Mail it's kinda random how long it takes because I also live in North Austin and sent it out from the post office on Parmer/Metric (which is kinda hidden in a strip mall). Weird.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Just a heads up about the order I sent in from Canada. It took less than a week to get to WB, and once it hit the U.S. border it started tracking on USPS.com with the tracking number printed on the label WB provides.

I'm sure both of you will be just fine. As to the jump in geographical destinations, it might have been on a pivotal logistical point.

Just imagine if UPS got a hold of these packages. You guys WOULD be fucked.

You're lucky, my friend. When I called to verify they got my covers, I was told, "You know it takes 4-6 weeks to process?"

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Same here. Just noticed I was charged on 05/08 for Batman Begins, Harry Potter 5, I Am Legend and Justice League. I would assume a copy of Batman Begins was sent and isn't on backorder anymore.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

I'm guessing this was answered somewhere in the thread but I can't find it. On my .pdf label, it's got a return label of 1000 Austin Ct in Howell, MI and on the Merchandise Return Mailing Acknowledgment. I'm assuming that's the address it uses for everybody, and it's not tied to the actual mailing address?

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

I'm still waiting to be charged. They received the covers on 4/29. Stuff still on backorder I'm assuming.

Oh well...no hurry, would be nice.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Just checking in... Sent my covers in on the first day of the promotion, they received them on 4/28, no charge or email contact for me so far...

I do have a large order though, 23.

Luck all.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Rats! I was really excited by the possibility of getting Casablanca not in the gift-set. Price was never the issue. Now, I'm not going to bother.

I emailed them asking the same thing, the Howell, MI address is their warehouse apparently. I thought it somehow switched my address with someone else's.
