I doubt it. What I heard is that the Amazon copies don't come with a free ticket.

The free ticket is a seperate piece of paper with a code and a picture of the characters from UP on it. You couldnt miss it. The code for the disney rewards is the same for the digital download.

I didn't get the tickets or a code in mine, so it looks like I'll be returning to Best Buy for an exchange. I'd hate to think I paid 30 bucks for just a movie and a digital copy I'll never use.

I bought it from Best Buy and it does have the ticket- or movie cash I should say. It also came with a pretty nice poster with all 10 Pixar movies. I ordered online and did store pickup so it was about the same price as Amazon.

Has anyone actually viewed their Bug's Life Blu-ray disc yet and given their comments on the quality.

Yep, I watched it last night. I don't remember ever seeing it before but it looked spectacular; on par with any Disney/Pixar BD so far.

Agreed. Looks and sounds every bit as good as Wall-E, Cars, Shorts, Vol. 1, and Ratatouille.

looked phenomenal. More 3-Dimensional than My Bloody Valentine.

Watched it last night myself. Simply amazing.

Looking forward to seeing this title and adding it to my slowly growing collection of Blu Ray discs. Does it have the same Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs trailer as the Pinocchio Blu Ray ?

opened my BB copy - phew! the tix and code were there, now I can return my Amazon copy (sans tix/code) to BB.

Re: A Bug's Life coming in May

I just scanned a few scenes last night, but the audio really surprised me in how much it stood out. There was one part where a character was blowing into a conch shell-like thing that sounded like someone was in the room making the sound. It was like I could almost feel the air rushing out of the shell - pretty amazing. Got my copy at Best Buy (PMed Fry's) and it had the Up ticket in it. Since we're planning on seeing Up at the theater anyway, I was able to rationalize the price as being under $20 taking the Up ticket into account.

I think that's how we're all looking at it since there weren't any great release week deals.

I might get it before it goes on sale because of Up, but I kinda doubt it. $20 is the most I think I'm willing to pay. It's just way too much money IMHO.

I hate it.

Give me an actual physical ticket, please.

I can't be the only person that sometimes buys the DVD/BD the same day I'm out and about in town and want to see the movie right after.

This is one of the only Blus I gladly paid full price for. It was one of my first DVDs and definitely one of my most watched.

Picked it up at Best Buy with the free Pixar poster and price matched their site for the extra $2. I had to dig through about 20 copies before I found one with the code on it.

A member on blu-ray.com posted that at their local Toys R Us, ABL was on sale for $19.99. I think I'll stop by after work. I'll take it for that price.

Was just about to post this. I'll try and pricematch there. By the way, that's a damn good price.

The ticket for Up is bullshit.

While there's no mention of it on the insert with the code, when you get the .pdf through the website, it says that it's only good for a child's admission. What a bunch of crap.

Anyone have any luck getting this? I'm going to try tonight.

really? huh, I was actually able to use this over at (AMC) Tysons this morning - with the difference only being 50 cents for the 3D showing.
