Status of older Pixar BD releases?
We have Cars, Ratatouille, and Wall-E on BD, as well as all of their shorts through Lifted. Has there been any news regarding their older titles being released on BD?

Finding Nemo was once planned around the same time as Sleeping Beauty BD. It has been on and off release lists worldwide for most of this year, but right now is in limbo land. Maybe next year.
Toy Story 1 & 2 get theatrical 3-D re-releases in late 2009 and early 2010. Combine that with the release of Toy Story 3 in 2010, they're unlikely to see release until well into 2010.

FWIW, when I was at Pixar this time last year, they were saying that their older movies were being remastered for Blu-ray (tweaking the color timing was a big part of that; what looked great on the monitors they were using at the time doesn't so much these days). A Bug's Life was getting a spit and polish at the time.

I asked Brad Bird about when Incredibles would be coming out on Blu-ray, and he said, "I don't know, because I'm worried that if I ask, Pixar will kill me."

I'd be happy with any Pixar film as long as they keep releasing them consistently.

I've never seen A Bugs Life. Given the brilliance of every other Pixar film I know I shouldn't have so much disdain for this without having seen it, butJulia Louis-Dreyfus bugs me too much.
Meanwhile, I'd love to see The Incredibles on BR.
