Twister BD - had this on SD and wanted to check out the Blu-ray. Pretty nice but a few scenes I felt the dialogue was a bit muffled and few scenes of off-color skin tones. Not reference material by any means but a nice detailed clear picture.

Mad Detective.
It was such a bizarre film. Very confusing at times, but also moving and interesting in ways I did not expect going in. It is definitely one worth seeing.

Terminator 1 and Behind Enemy Lines which I picked up at BB this week. Both looked decent. Better than the old discs I had of them anyway. Then last night was war movie night:
Bridge Too Far on Blu-ray
Flags Of Our Fathers on HD

The House Bunny I actually thought it was pretty funny. Had some lame jokes that fell flat but had some good humor in there.

I watched Igor a couple of nights ago. Very funny and rather sweet movie. Solid picture and audio. However, I did notice jaggies in the picture. Not too distracting as it only caught my eye by chance on second viewing. I wonder if that's due to the source material, though.

I just finished watching Lost: Season 4 on Blu-ray. It was quite an experience. I enjoyed it much better this time than when I saw it on broadcast on TV (which left me feeling disappointed at the time -- that is, the last few episodes). I still think there are problems with the editing in There's No Place Like Home. It just seemed like the writer's strike paid it's toll on their crew, all of them, even if it was ultimately a minor blip on an otherwise amazing season and a still generously wonderful season finale.
I am glad to have seen it so close to the new season's premiere. Three days! Then, I will enjoy and reap in the rewards of new Lost once more. And because there was no strike to slow them down this year I expect all of us might be in for a treat -- perhaps the best season yet.
