We'd tried to watch Stargate: The Movie, the Extended Edition blu-ray a couple of weeks ago but it wouldn't load in our BD player. Found a 15th Anniversary BD on Ebay for a decent price, got it today, watched it this evening. Still as good a movie as it ever was and it looked great.

Babylon. Epic movie. There are issues but not as bad as some paint it.

La Femme Nikita…gotta say, I loved it. It has this dark humor through out that never happened in Point of No Return, which I’ve seen a couple times prior to tonight being my first viewing of the Besson masterpiece. I mean i love most everything Besson. Leon is in my top ten of all-time, but also loved Fifth Element, Taken. All great and all original and quite divine. And, this Blu-ray for Nikita which is old makes the film gorgeous.

Haven't really liked his more recent stuff, but his older stuff are treasures.

And, the fact that Leon was a spinoff of sorts or at least the ties are excellent!

Watched Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death this evening. Not bad, but not as good as the first one.

Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness 3D Japan import. Feel this one was made to be seen in 3D.

Finally got to watch The Creator this evening. We'd been waiting for the right moment, I'm glad I bought it. Definitely had an impact on me, even if only to reinforce my belief that people suck. We both thought it was a worthy addition to our collection...

Watched Sorcerer (1977) this evening.

Man, Criterion did a bang up job with Risky Business. It never looked or sounded better. When Phil Collins came on the bass really kicks in. It’s a glorious visual and audio spectacle. And, the movie is of course of legend. Cruise must have fixed his teeth after The Outsiders and before this. Great movie all around. Amazing soundtrack by Tangerine Dream. I’ve yet to get to extras, but it’s been a great trip thus far. Was the Blu-ray version.
