The newly-restored BFI blu-ray of Get Carter (1971) that was released last year. Love this set. One of my favorite movies of all-time. Available in 4K, as well.

Last night we watched It (1990), started It: Part I (2017) while we ate dinner earlier. Finishd It this evening, started It: Chapter Two, we'll finish It up tomorrow.

Watched Batman Begins last night, watched The Dark Knight this evening.

Watched The Dark Knight Rises this evening. Much better than I remembered it from the first time.

I returned the Suspiria 4K UHD for the 2 disc BD and finally got to watch it all the way through. Amazing film and I am kicking myself for just finally getting around to watch it.

Doctor Who: Eve of the Daleks - fun concept and great performance from the facility owner, but Chibnall just can't give Jodie's stuff the weight it needs.

Fired up the HD-DVD player recently for St. Patrick’s Day and tried to watch The Fugitive which takes place then- I’d gone through several copies of that before getting one that played fine, but that has now rotted and craps out an hour in. The transfer on that is seriously flawed anyways. I ended up watching Dog Day Afternoon, which amazingly still plays fine. The picture breaks up very briefly at the layer switch but sound doesn’t cut out and nothing freezes or skips, it was like that when I watched it a few years ago and hasn’t gotten any worse. Going to watch some more HD-DVDs and weed out any others that might have gone bad.

Party Girl (1995)…this was pretty good. Not really about anything. Maybe older coming of age, but it was pretty decent. Good blind buy as I never knew about. Posey I knew, but not the movie.
