Nothing really remarkable except for a couple of few gross out scenes and brutal violence.

Was it based on a videogame?

Maggie's Plan

I though it would be great but it was just ok.

We watched Maggie's Plan yesterday and thought the same. Watching The Lobster now and will probably not finish it.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this documentary last night. The image quality is understandably inconsistent but it was a wonderful homage to Mr. Harryhausen and it was a steal at $9.99 via the Arrow sale at Barnes & Noble.

Has been some time since I've seen this one. Hiddleston's smirk makes that character.

Batman: The Killing Joke

Don't understand why it was rated "R"

Not a kids movie but nothing really shocking.

Well, we grabbed a box of Kleenex and watched the big ship and DiCaprio go down on Winslet once again—only his time in 3D. It's still a great ride each time I view this flick. This is one of the 3D movies I grabbed before I had the capability to play it back. If memory serves, it was less than $10 at Fry's Electronics a couple of years ago.

Fired up the HD player for the first time in a long time. My annual viewing of this movie. Stone is about as subtle as a sledgehammer but I almost feel an obligation to watch this once a year. I remember that day so well. It was one of the most gorgeous September days I can remember.

Payback: Straight Up...better than I remember the theatrical being. Nice gritty little flick.

Got it before the Criterion version was even announced. Unlike Wes Anderson, Del Toro films are not guaranteed a Criterion release.
Watched it a second time to see if it was worth getting the Criterion release. And I'm convinced, it's not. GDT is so overrated.

The Conversation, I love that movie so much. For awhile, I enjoyed it more than The Godfather, Part II.

It was good but most of the movie is set in pitch black and it gets tiring after a while.

I own it but have not seen in it in HD yet.

Knocked Up

United 93 was a better film. I liked the choice to use the real people outside the airplane. But after seeing it once it was just too raw to re-watch. The extras where the actors met the relatives of the people they would be portraying was heart wrenching. Plus WTC shows the images we were seeing that day. So for as flawed as WTC is, I revisit every September.

Oh no. This one was phenomenal and so beautiful...
