I liked that one in spite of Keanu Reeves.

I loved it, but very much a template war movie in theme so if you're not fond of the war genre this one won't change your mind.

The ending for Fury might surprise people and Pitt is not the central character in the movie.

The Bag Man

De Niro looks like Dustin Hoffman in Wag the Dog.

Cusack has really hit the skids lately. Maybe he is not that big of a star anymore to pass on Hot Tub Time Machine 2.

The Godfather

First time watching it in HD though you can see flaws in the transfer

Jack Reacher
The PQ and AQ of the movie is phenomenal. The problem I had with this movie is that I just don't believe Tom Cruise as a badass. It was too convenient how he just knows everything and is able to deduce the evidence and handle all obstacles.

I didn't have a problem with him being a badass or with what he knew. He admitted he missed the key "tell" to the conspiracy. I found fault in the bathroom scene. He is so aware of everything going on yet a couple of idiot guys get the drop on him and it turns into the three stooges for a couple minutes.

To your point, I guess the character in the book was a pretty big dude, maybe they should have gotten Dwayne Johnson for the part?

Plus me being crazy about Rosamund Pike makes it a keeper for me. Not a traditional beauty by any means but I find her very attractive and will watch the movie just for her.

I never read the books so I have no idea how big Jack Reacher should be. I think my problem lie in Tom Cruise and the character that he's portraying in the movie. I just didn't buy it.
Now in regards to Rosamund Pike, I agree with you specially having recently watched Gone Girl.

She was a fucking Bond-Girl, how the hell is she not a traditional beauty?

Fast and Furious 6
Strong PQ and AQ
Hard to believe that a movie about street racing has become one of the better action franchises around. The plot is irrelevant just as long as it gives them an excuse to reunite the crew. The good thing is that I enjoy the actors together since none of them will win any acting awards in this series. Too bad that it will be the last time that we will see
Spoiler:
Han and Giselle
in this franchise. The action sequences are over the top but fun. I can't wait for Furious 7!

The Raid: Redemption
The Raid 2: Berandal
I made it a double bill since we are having a crappy weekend here in the Greater Toronto Area and is not great to be outside.
I rewatched the first movie again. Simple plot and great action sequences.
The second one is longer with better action sequences since they increased the budget. I like the fact that it continues hours after the first movie ended but again the plot is simple. No complaints about the fighting and action sequences. Some of them is downright crazy specially liked the Hammer Girl.

Not particularly curvy, very attractive but not what I consider a beautiful face. Don't get me wrong, I'm nuts about the girl, but she isn't a bombshell.

One of the few HD DVD's that I upgraded to BR. Shouldn't have bothered, no difference in quality

To each his own. She's a knockout.

I thought she was cute in Hector and the Search for Happiness, she definitely has a unique look to her but it's a good one.

She and Michelle Dockery look like they could be sisters. Of course, Rosamund Pike would be the hot sister.
