The Wolf of Wall Street. Scorsese does it once again. One crazy ride of a film.

Maybe they are mashed together with with similar themes of those movies, but I don't know if I could compare it to any of those fairly. TWOW is a black comedy. I never thought the other ones were.

About Time...not bad, but no chemistry between McAdams and Domnhall or whatever his name is. could have been better and expecting more Love Actually, unfortunately...

Wolf of Wall Street is funnier than any movie Vince Vaughn put out the last 5 years.
Blade Runner the 2007 Final Cut
Gravity
I lost interest in Gravity after

47 Ronin
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
I liked 47 Ronin despite some flaws.
The Hobbit was soooo long. 161 minutes and I honestly had trouble following it. I liked the 1st movie, but I haven't seen it since it hit theaters back in December 2012 so my memory of the story was really foggy. I'll definitely need to see this again.

Decided to give Super 8 a spin. Still as charming as ever.

An American Tail
This one didn't age as well to me as some of the other movies by Don Bluth. Take out Fievel and the other characters aren't that great.

The Counselor (2013). Fucking worst movie I ever saw.
Ridley Scott must be on some sort of philosophical soul searching adventure. Just leave that shit at home, Ridley. Please don't put on on the screen.

Grudge Match - I was entertained and thought that Deniro and Stallone played really well off of each other. Alan Arkin was awesome and the hearing aid gag left me in stitches. I do wish it was rated R, though, as I don't think Kevin Hart is that funny when neutered.

I would put that more on Cormack McCarthy than Scott. He wrote that script without giving a single fuck as to how movies (or even stories) work. Like it or hate it, it just doesn't conform to standard story-telling procedures that have been part of humanity since we first started telling stories in caves, and around fires.
