Emilio Estevez was great in War at Home. That was a good movie nobody saw.
Argo was good and better than what I expected. The airport scene was exciting. I can see why it won Best Picture though I have not seen the other contenders yet.
Got requainted with an old friend for first time in 9 years but this time in HD.
Gladiator!
It is in my top 5 of best movies ever and the score by Hanz Zimmer is fantastic.
Still get misty eyed at the end and Joaquin Phoenix was great as Commidus
Sucks Oliver Reed and Richard Harris are no longer with us.

Zero Dark Thirty
It was ok but yes 2 hrs and 36 minutes was long though I still think Chastain should have won the Oscar for best actress.
The coach from Friday Night Lights is in this and Argo.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey 3D
I know I'm in the extreme minority but, despite the padding and the fact that I feel this should have been a standalone film rather than another trilogy, I actually enjoy this movie more than any of the individual LOTR film (even FOTR, which is my absolute favorite in that trilogy).
PQ and AQ (though the latter was a tad lower than I expected) were fantastic. The intermission point was a tad awkward but could have been worse.

HD DVD-Streets of Fire
I haven't watched "red" in a while and finally got around to watching this. I haven't seen this since catching it first run in theaters. I enjoyed it more this time. Picture looked nice to boot not to mention Diane Lane. I know this and Cat People haven't seen life on blu yet so I need to hang on to my red set.
I actually did a triple feature this afternoon with the blu-rays of The Hobbit and Death Proof.
