Monsters - Still enjoyed it just as much on this second viewing. If you go into it knowing it's Cloverfield lite, then you're likely to be less disappointed about the amount of monster action. Very curious to see how Edwards handles the Godzilla reboot.

American Psycho with Guinevere Turner commentary track. Somewhat informative, but I prefer the other commentary by Mary Harron. I wish they'd recorded a singular track together, honestly.

Carried on with Kurt Russell and watched Tombstone this afternoon. Kevin Jarre wrote some great dialog for that movie, and contrary to popular belief Val Kilmer didn't get all of the best lines. It's been a favorite of mine for quite some time, and I never tire of it.

Fringe: Season Two - Wow, what a great show. On occasion it has a plot-line I just do not give a shit about, but in this season there was probably only one or two. I think this show has a lot to offer sci-fi nerds.

Man From Nowhere - pretty great; it wasn't anything I hadn't really seen before, but it was so well done, and looked so great with some truly well-done and visceral action beats that were pretty intense and more than made up for the couple moments of cheese that it had.

House (Hausu): CC - WTF did I just watch? It reminded me of Jigoku a bit, but that may have been because that's also another bizarre trip of a film. There were lots of great experimental effects and camera work. It's definitely one of those films you just have to see; words can't do it much justice.

Walkabout: CC - Great film up to the 50 min. mark. I didn't know ahead of time that there were issues with this disc playing on Sony BDP-S350 units, and mine froze up. Waiting on word from Criterion for a replacement. Sucks because I was really into it.

Life As We Know It Especially when compared to some of the real crappy rom-coms of late, this one was pretty entertaining. Relies on the charm of Duhamel, Heigl and Lucas but it works.

The Treasure of the Sierra Madre - This is one of those classic Hollywood films that's captivating and flawlessly executed. Stellar performnces across the board, but Walter Huston really takes it. It's rare I watch a performance that screams "Oscar!" as loud as this one did. PQ was outstanding - anyone who says classic b&w films don't benefit from BD has their head up their ass.
