Does The Waterboy come complete with the Star Wars Episode 1 teaser that caused everyone to go see it?

Wow, is that Waterboy cover ugly. Seriously, what the hell was wrong with just using the poster art? At least I can ditch my old non-anamorphic copy now.

Didn't know which thread to throw this in, but it looks like there is a new Blu-ray test disc on the Oppo website. Looks pretty nice.

WC came out in March '99, so that was likely the official trailer and not the teaser. Single handedly THE worst movie I've ever seen in a movie theater.

Wiki says the Ep. 1 teaser was attached to the Siege (11/6) which was a 20th Century Fox movie so that makes the most sense. Waterboy was also on 11/6 (Touchtone) and Meet Joe Black on 11/13(Universal).

StarWars.com lists a release date of 11/20 for the teaser.

Great news on Hot Fuzz. Now let's see if they use all of the bonus material from the 3-disc set or not.

Wasn't all of that stuff already on the HD DVD version? No reason they couldn't port the HD DVD, add the obligatory DTS-HDMA track and still have room left over. Providing that they use BD50s, of course.

Wow, tangent.... haha I saw it in front of Meet Joe Black, but that was after it'd been out for a few wks... Was hoping to see it before Enemy of the State but didn't.... man, that ten yrs went fast...

I remember walking into the Meet Joe Black screening when the teaser was released, everybody was standing around in the back of the theater, the teaser played and everybody left when it was done. Kinda sad.
I also recall being suprised to see it in front of The Waterboy a couple weeks later.

The Wright/Tarantino commentary and a slightly longer featurette were the only items missing on the HD-DVD from 3 disc SD (I want to say there was a featurette or two that was on SD side and not the HD-DVD side as well).

Both are currently slated to be released together (not sure in a 2 pack but the same day). However, like other Universal titles, this can change in a second.

FUCK YES, especially for 48 Hrs., Indy, and Gump. Will be nice to finally get Escape from L.A. beyond the non-anamorphic DVD, even if the terrible CGI looks 20 times worse in 1080p.

He posted those waaaay to early. We've been discussing them for a while but I don't know if Paramount was ready to announce all of them. Most should be Q4ish though Indy might be sooner. Still a good chunk of titles missing that should make some of you guys very happy :)
