^ agreed, depending what MGM decides to do with it.

I'd say Fargo would be worthy of a rental. If they find a way to add Batman to the movie in someway I'd bump it up to a buy.

Will wait for reviews on Fargo and Good the Bad and the Ugly, but though their transfers haven't been great the extras have stayed on. I'd expect the latter to look stunning.

Fargo looked good not awesome on HDnet - I'll be happy with a disc version of that.

Listed at DVD Empire today are the two missing Bond titles from the speculated wave 4 release, though they're coming a couple months after Quantum of Solace.

License To Kill (1989) - 5/12
The Man With The Golden Gun (1974) - 5/12
Dodgeball (rated vers) - 5/12

They also listed the previously mentioned Good Bad and The Ugly, Lions For Lambs, T2: Skynet Ed., Force 10 From Naverone and 3 Fox three-BD packs.

Interesting. The original rumors back in Dec. and Jan. had the Bond Vol. 4 set configuration of License to Kill, Man With The Golden Gun and Quantum of Solace. I think I'll hold off on QoS next month.

I'm in for The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

I just picked up Dodgeball a few weeks back but it seems they did this one backwards. Unrated came out before the rated version?

As for the Bonds I'm happy because TMWTGG is one of my favorites.

I'll probably get shit for this, but coming from someone who thought Quantum of Solace was awesome and tighter and better paced than Casino Royale, License to Kill is possibly in my top 3 Bond movies ever. Haven't bought any of them yet, but that one might be my first.

As much as I appreciate some of the intent behind this movie, my James Bond behaves in certain ways and kneeing M in the bits is not on the list.

I'm with you on the love for QoS, though.

lol I forgot about that. I liked Living Daylights much better, but will probably end up buying them all eventually.

I also count the Dalton films as two of my favorite Bonds. Can't wait to get License To Kill.

I'm going to guess since it was originally announced WAY back when as rated, but that barebones, MPEG-2 version was shelved....now they figure why not throw it out there on some extra BD25s they had laying around....
No matter, we already have a superior BD50 in AVC unrated version, just ignore this one and all is well....

Not my favorites, but they are fairly high up on my Bond list.

Paramore: The Final Riot! Blu-ray has been pushed back until...yep, you guessed it, March 21st. Wonder why (maybe that giant sticker on the case talking about Twilight?).

Actually, I didn't guess it, 'cause I have no idea what that is. :D

Apparently some band that was featured in Twilight  I don't listen to their music but their sales have sky-rocketed in the past few months.

It's an interesting tactic to apply to this market segment because, while there's usually a lot of sense in the idea of tying in the ad campaigns and sharing the release date when you know a lot of the target audience will be in the stores, I'm guessing a lot of the die-hard 'gotta have it on the release date' Twilight fans are younger and may not be able to afford to walk out of the store with both Twilight and Paramore... whereas, if they could get Paramore 'on the release date' a couple weeks before or after, maybe they could budget for it.

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part III

But there are a ton of older women who are all up on Twilight's nut sack-older women with money to spend. Their best shot at selling as many as possible of the Paramore disc is to have it available right next to Twilight. The prospect of impulse purchases is more than enough reason for them to hold off on it.

They have some music on Rockband/Guitar Hero. It's normally not my kind of music and I wouldn't like any of it if it weren't for those games.

Important to note that it's just a rumor at this point - no official word yet.

If this is true, YES!!!

I was hoping that Redemption was going to be a part of it. I'm not paying $20 or even $10 for those 2 hours. I still have it stored on my DVR.

Considering both on BD would set them back at least $50...I'm sure mommy and daddy will be present for a good chunk of the audience.
