It's peculiar to see a DC on the DVD...

And I wonder how they will house 3 discs in one case (I hope it's not a bulky double-sized).

Amazon has the 2-disc and 3-disc BD versions for the same price currently: $24.95

I'm confused... I assume 1 disc means 2 discs, and 2 discs means 3 discs... This is for BR releases.

Strangely enough (prices before discount):

DVDPlanet: 30.71 (1 disc) 26.96 (2 disc)
Deep Discount: 27.83 (1 disc) 30.14 (2 disc)

I was under the assumption that it's the movie and extras=(2 disc), and movie, extras, digital copy=(3 disc). Though it doesn't show by price point Amazon has both the 2, and 3 disc at the same price.

Yeah, if anyone can decipher what is going on with the titles at those sites, I would appreciate it. I'll be getting this and I'm just trying to determine the best value, but I'm not sure what is going on with the listings at those sites.

The 2 disc version is the movie + extras disc.
The 3 disc version includes everything above and comes with a digital copy and slipcover.

No slipcover for the 2-disc? Damnit, now I might have to get the 3-disc. I want all my Pixar BDs to be uniform.

Man of man does Wall-E look amazing on Blu-ray! This is a fantastic set! Even if you dont want the 3 disc version pick it up because the BD case is excellent for those that need to use it as a replacement for some previous broken Warner cases (Speed Racer/Get Smart) since its thicker than a normal BD one.

Any comparison pics by chance of the case?

No problem. I have not seen the film before (and skipped to a few parts on the BD to check it out). Looking forward to watching this. Hopefully its better than Kung Fu Panda.

What's the sound on it? Did Disney give a 7.1 track? I heard they were with Narnia, thought this could maybe get one too.

I thought Kung Fu Panda was far more funny, although Wall-E was more sweet and touching. Both are great to me.

I went ahead and ordered the 3-disc Blu-ray from Amazon.
