I enjoyed this movie more than Iron Man, IMO Downey Jr was miss-cast in that movie. Been awhile since I read comic books but he just didn't fit the bill as Stark. The acting wasn't very good either. I understand why they(movie companies) need to put a person like Downey in their but for someone who use to read those comic books back then,he just didn't pull it off, for me anyways.

As the Ice cracks and it pulls upward pause it... and move frame by frame -- you can see him plain as day.
My real question is -- Why the hell is Captain America in Canada I thought he was found in the North Atlantic near Iceland?
Captain Canada?

Well I ordered the Hulk BD based on the first day reviews and it appears I did the right thing so I can't wait.
Now in regards to the "Iron Man" topic I thought Downy did a great job considering not many thought he could even pull it off. As to how he protrayed the character this was the "beginning". We'll have to wait and see how he takes it in the next movie but I honestly feel he's pretty good for the role.
But the overall plot with Iron Man 2 will surely thicken with Jackson as "Nick Furry". For those that don't know "Nick Furry" was first tied in to no other than "Bruce Banner" (pre-Hulk) and later on ... Capt. America to help with S.H.I.E.L.D. Hmmmmm.......

I've been reading comics since I was 5 years old...
I agree that the movie was alittle light -- but for how the film introduced the character I believe it was infact correct.
In the past, (and what is at the time in hollywood) you dont really want to start a movie out on a dark angle or direction as most of these pictures are geared for children or at least an open age audience.
Nick Fury ... no double 'f'.

I loved this film. And, like "Hellboy", it just gets better each time I watch it. It was the perfect summer film. Great action and special effects. Throwing in my favorite actor as the lead was also a bonus. We had three terrific comic book movies this year. "Iron Man", "The Dark Knight" and "The Incredible Hulk". It's so unfortunate "TIH" didn't do as well at the box-office. It certainly deserved twice the business it got. I can only think of two reasons why it didn't. An over saturated market, or people still having a bad taste in their mouths from Ang Lee's film. I hope it finds it's bigger audience on home video. The BD is a home run. Gorgeous PQ (5/5) and the audio (5++/5). This was without a doubt the loudest film I've ever heard in a theater. Ditto on my home system. My ears are still ringing.

I just saw this tonight on BD and overall liked the movie. I know the first one was not well received but I have to admit I liked that one as well. I will admit the attack of the 6' tall poodle was a tad lame in the first. I honestly saw the same mistakes in this one that people complained about in the first one. The totally CGI hero was difficult to sympathize with. The CGI action was more cartoon than movie.
I'd bang Liv Tyler at the drop of a hat but she didn't make a convincing scientist nor did she have chemistry with Norton. Liv's boyfriend in the movie is not a convincing smart guy either.
The movie was good, looked and sounded great on BD. I rate it roughly the same as Ang Lee's Hulk, but again I liked that one OK too. I give them a B-. But definately below Dark Knight and Iron Man at A+ and A-
BD quality was easily 4 or 4.5 out of 5 in terms of PQ and audio.

Re: The Incredible Hulk BLU-RAY 10/21/08
Sorry for the bump from beyond the grave, but I just got this Blu-ray from Hollywood Video and it doesn't include the green case. Is there anyone who doesn't like / doesn't need the green case who would be willing to sell it to me for the cost of shipping? PM me if so. Thanks!
