I haven't heard the bluray yet, but I remember the theatrical mix in the theatre was amazing - very active, a lot of bass - probably the best 5.1 soundmix I heard this year.

My guess is that there may be one or two people not familiar with the frozen Captain America storyline in the comics. As one geeky enough to know this (and to actually own a copy of Avengers #4-Captain "dethawed" issue), thanks to Adam for standing up and geeking out!

When does Cap appear during the alternate opening? Even having the pic posted here as a reference did nothing to help me spot him. It's like playing Where's Waldo but there only two people there and one is still somehow blended into the image.

Nevermind. I finally spotted him. I'm honestly underwhelmed. Even knowing what you're looking for that cameo is really hard to notice. The final scene with Stark was a better Avengers setup than the Cap "cameo".

I think it's supposed to be more of an easter egg for fans rather than a cameo. I mean something as significant as the appearance of Cap would have made the movie.

Well got to watch Hulk last night and man I like watching movies at home alot more than at the theaters. This movies is bass heavy, just glad my neighbors didn't come over or call the police
.
I enjoyed this movie more than Iron Man, IMO Downey Jr was miss-cast in that movie. Been awhile since I read comic books but he just didn't fit the bill as Stark. The acting wasn't very good either. I understand why they(movie companies) need to put a person like Downey in their but for someone who use to read those comic books back then,he just didn't pull it off, for me anyways. Just my two cents
