Thanks for the heads up on this as I never realized there was even a problem. I called them earlier today and they said my replacement will be shipped out in the next batch that will be sent out in the next few weeks.

Same here, never even realized there was a problem - I just got my red2blu copy this week. I called and even though they asked for the UPC code, I told them that I hadn't opened it yet, and the CSR just put it through anyway. She said it'd be in the mail in 1-2 weeks. I just called in around 7:30 Eastern, so they're still open as of now.

I just checked my copy. Its nowhere near as noticeable as the pictures posted on my Sony 350, but now that I know its there, I see it.

I watched the scene several times and honestly would never noticed it (on my Sony) if it hadn't been mentioned, -the move is a little extra-fast for one sliver of a moment.

It's a minor issue, a few frames skipped when played back on my PS3. But it only took me about 5 minutes to call. I should have a replacement disc within a couple of weeks. Sounds good to me...

I just called. They did ask me for the UPC of just Revolutions, so I guess it depends on which operator you get.

Where is this AVS forum? I'm at work and want to call them for a replacement, but I need the UPC code. Can someone just post the code here?

Well, lo and behold I got my replacement copy today. That was the fastest 2 weeks ever!

Same here. Except I think it may have been a shorter than 6 day wait for me.

I just got my set from the Warner's trade-in last weekend. Disc works fine, no jacked up pixelation anywhere. So maybe the newer sets have the disc already replaced.

If they do, I wonder if there is a way we can tell the difference on the box.

So has anyone from Canada called the same 800 number for the replacement disc yet? Just wondering if this replacement program is in place for the US only.

My replacement showed up today. Not a bad turnaround time at all.

I don't know about box differences, but after getting my Red2Blu shipment today, I can give some info on the differences between the actual discs.

If you have DVD Profiler, they have a feature that reads the ID of the disc. It will also read the disc name. should you have a Blu-ray drive in your PC, the best way to tell the differences between the old and new discs are what the name of the disc is after your drive letter.

The original (bad) disc: MATRIX_REVOLUTION
The new (good) disc: THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS

In Profiler, the DiscIDs look like this:

Original: 8DCE667B7FFA9BF4
New: 3C0458032F09EC99

Finally, while I don't have the original disc, the new disc that I have has file dates from November '08, or the month after this box set originally came out.

Not everyone has a BD drive on their computer though.

Hence why I said "should you have a Blu-ray Drive..."

However, there may be another way to tell. The original box came with a digital copy for The Matrix. The box I just got did not have the digital copy. No disc, no mention of it, nothing.

It's possible that the sets without Digital Copy also have the corrected disc.

The Ultimate Edition set had a digital copy that came with The Matrix? I thought the digital copy was only on the digipak.

Yes. The Matrix is a two-disc Blu-ray thinpack that has a digital copy.

I wasn't aware of the digital copy either. Just redeemed mine. It expires 10/31.

Also just called for the replacement. Pretty painless. The CSR did ask for the UPC#.

Dammit I keep forgetting to bring the UPC with me to work so I can make the call during the day. Gotta remember to do this.

I remember running the disc on my Panny BD30 and not seeing much of anything, but I still should get the replacement while the getting's good.

I got my replacement disc today! I called about it Monday, and I love that they didn't require to send in the bad disc. This was a very quick and painless turnaround!

Warner's must have some August summer time on their hands. Called Wednesday, and got the disc on Saturday. What kind of customer service is that?
