Clearly you have not seen some of Paramounts BD catalog titles. They are very poorly shrinkwrapped.

But yeah, people tend to whine. Oh well. If they want that exclusive case so bad...they'll suck it up.

I've not gotten Iron Man, FSM, Godfather, or LA Confidential from Tower yet. All ordered last week.

I'm pretty sure they didn't really "ship."

Does anyone know if the best buy set with the bust is Blu Ray or regular DVD?

Another thing to keep in mind is that selling the disc down the road might be a hassle if the buyer has a player that can't handle it.

I may not even have to worry about it as I'm not sure I'm actually getting it. I got a Tower order from a few days after I placed the one with Iron Man today and still no Iron Man or Forgetting Sarah Marshall, so I dk.

After seeing the Target ad this weekend, I'm certain the BD with collectible packaging will be kickass.

I'm assuming it will be a bit larger.

You mean the Iron Man case? No, I reckon it won't be in a normal Blu-ray package...

Tower said my copy was shipping on the 16th. This weekend they issued me a refund. Guess it really never shipped.

Picked up the Target exclusive at 8 AM this morning. They had about 10 or so at my Target. The box is huge, about the size of a VHS tape. The mask itself is flat on the bottom and will stand upright on its own, so I may just put it out and toss the box in a closet somewhere

Here's a few pictures:

I love this amazon prime!

Apparently I am close enough for the 2 day free shipping to be over night! ha

Shipped yesterday, out for delivery now!

My wife didn't see this flick, I am psyched to watch this tonight.

bjh,

Now, the real question...did you get good discs or bad ones. Can you read the numbers on the ring around Disc 1?

That is the real question. I'm at work now, so I'll have to take a look when I go home on my lunch break.

I picked up a copy this moning at Wal-Mart and the package had definitely been opened. There was a UPC replacement sticker over the old UPC on the Blu-Ray case and not the actual cover itself. There were also parts of the security/title label left on and covered up by the replacemenrt security label. It was obvious that it had been opened and repackaged.

I was at my local Target when they opened today to get the special packaging. I wish the eyes on it were now white but it is still amazing. The store had maybe a dozen copies if that.

With our new place I don't get to display my movies like I used to so this packaging was important to me. I can now display a few of my favorite movies even if the rest of my collection is hidden away.

So the regular 2-disc set was repackaged? I thought retailers were supposed to send those back and Paramount had sent them new versions. I really hope they didn't just send them new discs and have the retailer replace their old stock.
