I posted an image for the rebate in the Transformers BD thread. Sucks HD DVD owners are left out in the cold.

$30 shipped for Star Trek Season 1 on HD DVD!
That's awesome! I know there is no coding for HD DVD, but, since this is a HD DVD Combo, is the DVD side region coded?

Yes. Whatever region the UK is. Plus its PAL anyway...so unless you have an Oppo or a region free player you won't be playing the DVD side.

The HD DVD side is still region free.

BTW, My copy has already shipped.

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping all the new extras are on the HD side.

Nice! Looks like I have a little extra incentive to buy The Godfather, not that I really needed one.

Any ideas how the Godfather one will work? There are single disc releases and the box set on DVD, and for Blu-ray, only the box set of all films has been announced, correct?

So, which DVD (single and/or box set) will apply ... and does it apply to the purchase of the Blu-ray box set?

Are they offering this rebate for those who bought the first dvd boxset or those who will buy the Coppola Restored dvd boxset and then upgrade to Blu-ray? or does this apply to both situations? Thanks.

How is one supposed to get the UPC from the Godfather DVD boxset? Didn't it come on a flimsy paper that was glue-tacked to the back of the box? I don't think I kept that.

Or are we supposed to slice off the UPC from the heavy cardboard case?

The Proposition is $16.99 on Borders.com before any discounts. I used the current 30% code from the Borders coupon thread. BR4993 .Used the free ship to store option and my total was $11.89. Needed to find something cheap to use some Borders credit.

In case people are overlooking DVD Bargain threads ... you can get Camp Rock and Hannah Montana BDs for $27.98 TOTAL FOR BOTH, which includes a $10 Gift card, at Target with an on disc coupon from Camp Rock and an internet coupon from Disney.

Target: Hannah Montana/Camp Rock - $10 gift card + $10 off coupon

If you are referring to the Camp Rock/Hannah Montana coupons, they are not scanned. Both are official coupons.

1) One of the $10 coupons is on the Camp Rock Blu-ray for $10 off the purchase of both.

2) The second coupon is from Disney Movie Rewards and is only available on Coupons.com via direct print (coupon does not display on the screen), and it is not a scanned coupon. Again, only good on the purchase of both.

Ahh ok. I thought these are the ones that come in the DVD that (if you buy the DVD) gives you $10 off the future purchase of said Blu-ray. Those scanned coupons are a big no-no here.

I just noticed Amazon has dropped next week's release of Postal down to 19.95, $4 lower than when it first went up for pre-order.

Still 19.95 too much for an Uwe Boll movie.
