That's why I'm glad I held off now, I've never seen the whole thing, I'm glad i'll get to experience my first time in this format.

Has anyone seen any good deals on Doomsday? I rented it and was blown away. Yes, it's derivative and mindless, but it's probably also the most enjoyable film I've watched in a while.

This sale is still ongoing, for the third week in a row. I should say that (in Houston, at least) it doesn't really seem like 200 films, and they were mixing up the 9.99 titles with 11.99 titles. Having said that, there are a few films that are definitely worth it at 9.99 if you haven't got them already... while the rest are stuff that I personally would not buy unless they got cheaper, considering it is a dead format.

Don't blame you. My local Fry's has had this giant sale display up for at least six weeks, and the HD-DVDs are still just sitting there.

Keep in mind Fry's has boxed of HD DVDs everywhere throughout the store. So while it may appear they are not moving, they have hundreds of copies of each film and they re-stock the shelves pretty damn fast.

That's unreal - I thought I got a good deal when it was $50 shipped!
