If you are referring to the Camp Rock/Hannah Montana coupons, they are not scanned. Both are official coupons.

1) One of the $10 coupons is on the Camp Rock Blu-ray for $10 off the purchase of both.

2) The second coupon is from Disney Movie Rewards and is only available on Coupons.com via direct print (coupon does not display on the screen), and it is not a scanned coupon. Again, only good on the purchase of both.

Ahh ok. I thought these are the ones that come in the DVD that (if you buy the DVD) gives you $10 off the future purchase of said Blu-ray. Those scanned coupons are a big no-no here.

I just noticed Amazon has dropped next week's release of Postal down to 19.95, $4 lower than when it first went up for pre-order. :D2:

Still 19.95 too much for an Uwe Boll movie.

I'd rather watch Norbit than this. Uwe Boll...ugh.

Good news boys and girls! WB 30% off code is back. Use ANWBTS to get your 30 percent off! Band of Brothers BD now only 55.97.

Haven't followed any "deal" threads lately - is this as good of a deal (30% off) as Warner has had?

Yep, or that's what I was told in the Store Forum at least.

Yes.

And you can think me for the 30% coupon's return - I just placed an order with the 25% coupon a couple days ago.

That is correct. You will see an initial pending charge amount for the order you place but that will fall off. Then depending of release dates you only get charged the part of your order that ships out. The WB store has really got their shit together after the fall fiasco of last year.

Gizmo 08-21-08 10:28 PM

Good. Ordered Poltergeist, Blow and Interview with a Vampire.

Beetlejuice got removed...

kevin75 08-21-08 11:02 PM

whlie the 30% off code is tempting, i am wondering if it would be just the same when the (probable) 20% ddd/dvdplanet sale hits in the fall?

Well a big thing you have to factor in on DDD sales is that they do jack up the prices a little bit before the coupon goes live. Still from what I can see on DDD's website, the Warner code ends up cheaper by a bit even with hypothetical 20 percent off, plus WBs shipping is a lot faster than DDD's shipping.

I doubt it. The Blu-ray 'deals' with the last DDD/DVD Planet sale were pretty mediocre.

Drexl 08-22-08 01:42 PM

Damn, they don't seem to have Cool Hand Luke listed.

I may get Poltergeist. How did last year's DVD look? I assume that might be a clue as to how it will turn it.

rexinnih 08-22-08 02:33 PM

In for Warners
LA Confidential
Interview with Vampire
Christmas Story Set
Bummed they took Beetlejuice off

RockStrongo 08-22-08 03:12 PM

Does WB automatically ship when something is released (for multiple pre-order orders)? Or ship all together?

Drexl 08-22-08 03:21 PM

Mine arrived separately as they were released, with separate charges for each title as they were shipped.

Moopher 08-24-08 02:44 AM

Well...another "sale" from Amazon..up to 45% off select titles...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htm...rd_i=193640011

Gizmo 08-24-08 09:48 AM

Warners already has a pending charge on my account...WTF? These don't come out until October.

They have Cool Hand Luke up now.

Sears has the following for 17.99 this week. Since the Blu selection at the Sears stores in my area are crap...a price match or online may be the best way to go...

U-571
The Mummy
The Mummy Returns
The Scorpion King
Miami Vice
End of Days

Overpar 08-25-08 07:51 AM

Amazon.com dropped Afro Samurai Blu-ray to 13.95!

http://www.amazon.com/Afro-Samurai-S...9668631&sr=8-2

Mr. Cinema 08-25-08 08:31 AM

The Godfather Set is now 40% off at Amazon, bringing the total down to $74.95. I'm holding out hope it drops to $65. I'm not sure I want to pay $75 for 2 good movies.

Correction....2 of the best movies of all time and 1 well-made (but not up to the first 2) sequel.

;)

Agree. Godfather III is far from the horrible movie most claim. It just can't hold up to first two which few films can. When I get the BD set I will definitely watch all three again in order.

mdc3000 08-25-08 11:25 AM

Canucks - Future Shop online seems to have mispriced the Universal Action Started Pack which features the blu-rays of Miami Vice, U-571 and End of Days - $25.99 for the set (they charge $26 per if you buy them seperate)... might not get honoured but I thought I'd give it a shot.
