Not sure how good of a deal it actually is...but Best Buy currently has a deal where you buy 2 $20 Blu-rays and get a free PS3 Blu-ray remote (normally $25 at BB). The movies include 300, The Departed, TMNT, Bullitt, I Am Legend, and a few others. I was going to get 300 and The Departed (I'm probably the only one here who doesn't already have them) with this deal, since I've been wanting a remote for my PS3 even though I don't use it real often...but they actually rang up at just under $35 for the two, so even better. Not sure if other combinations will give that price.

So about $35 for 300, The Departed, and a PS3 Blu-ray remote.

Hmmm, and now I see a 3 disc on Amazon...
wall-e is now $30 and $36. now at Planet for each version.

Bond Deals - The 2 sets that just came out are now for sale for $64.95 total. It's a one day deal on Amazon. So if you're interested, I would hurry.

Sold!

Too bad it's gonna be a few more months before I have a Blu-ray player. I'll enjoy looking at the boxes, though.

I picked up a few leftover HDDVD titles. Shipping is steep. Even with the 30% off for over $25 it was still $8 for standard shipping. That adds another $1.33 to each title. I ended up with 6 titles for $38. Still worth it but I hate getting bent over on the shipping.

So freakin tempting for $65. But I have the entire set on SD and almost the whole collection remains unopened. I really can't justify it. I like Bond but I'll watch Bourne every few months and Bonds maybe once a year.

I was going to wait and hope that I got the Bond movies for Christmas, but that is just way too good of a deal to pass up.

I just bought the Bond set as well. For as many movies as you get (and special features) it was just too tempting although I am not the biggest Bond fan.

Damn this got expensive checking out this forum today. In for the Bond set and 5 titles from Intervideo. Some on the fence ones hit the magic $10 mark for me.

Also in for the Bond sets...I don't own any of them on SD, so for just over $10 per movie, couldn't pass it up.

Had to get the Bond flicks at that price, great deal - will help get the Quantum of Solace aftertaste out of my mouth.

I scored Kung Fu Panda for $19.88 at my local Walmart* today. With tax it was about 50¢ more than DDD.

YMMV
