I just joined that web site and would love to know where the "collection manager" is so I can download it and catalouge all mine. While not Bob Black numbers, it is quite large in its own right!

I don't believe it is software. It is online only, like the link in my sig. On blu-ray.com, you can find it under the Community heading, and then on the left side link as My Collection.

Re: Photos of Your Blu-Ray Collection
Definitely not. If we look at DVD as a similar product, there are very few titles that maintain their original selling price even months out. Why on earth anyone would buy a disc to leave it sealed in a package, knowing full well, with 10 years of experience behind us, that the chances of value appreciation are slim to none, is beyond me.

Big difference though, you can understand why the comic fan would shell out the measly $1.50 the comic cost back then, plus anyone could enjoy the comic he sells. These are out of region Blus the guy buys, so most can't watch them anyway, plus it is insane how much these things cost. It hurts my head, to reason why someone would be multiple copies of a movie, not even interested in the movie itself, but the dumb packaging that it's housed in.

it really boggles the mind that someone could be convinced to pay twice as much AND buy two copies of a movie they'd never otherwise own or even watch simply because of the packaging. just bizarre.

I didn't realize how lousy this shot turned out until I transferred it, but I'm too lazy to go downstairs and do it again:

Re: Photos of Your Blu-Ray Collection
Only difference is that there is a market for reselling sealed games , and not too much for movies (at least that i know of)

That's awesome.
