Amazon is showing availability of July 1st for this. Did it get delayed or did they sell out quickly?

I'm assuming just about everybody that bought the movie online bought it from Amazon due to the price, I'll say sold out. Plus a lot of people already said theirs shipped.

I saw that as well - i'm guessing a sell out. I cancelled my Amazon preorder (normally preorders ship for me Mondays) and will just buy this at Target or Best Buy

My "pre-order" from Amazon (free shipping which usually means street day +/- two years before it ships) shows June 9th. At least hope I'm not in the July 1 crowd.

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Looks like it should be arriving today. Gotta love Amazon Prime

Likewise. Actually, of the seven Blu-ray discs and four CDs I'd pre-ordered this week in four separate orders, the only things that've shipped are The Longest Day and The Sand Pebbles; everything else is slated for 6/9.

Odd all my pre-orders are shipping out today when typically they ship out on Monday. That includes 2 Blu-ray movies and a CD.

Cloverfield is being delivered today. *whew*

Looks like Amazon got alot of Paramount orders. Cloverfield and TWBB show "in stock July 1", along with pretty much everything else.

I can accept that some planned HD-DVD extras didn't make it but if it already exists I think it should have been included.

Watch out - it's 34.99 at Target.

They did have it this morning though.

I'm a Prime member and ordered it the first day it was listed, yet mine did not ship out.

I just picked it up at Fry's this morning for 29.99. If it ships from Amazon within 30 days I'll just return that copy to Fry's.

It just bugs me though - every time there's a big Blu-Ray release day, Amazon always manages to delay at least one title I've ordered.

At least my copy of TWBB shipped, or there would have been blood....

EDIT: I see now Weeds S3 is also showing in stock 7/1. WTF?

I hate to say it, but given how many Blu-Ray releases there were today, one has to wonder if this is not a replication capacity issue.

Thanks to the bargain thread, I knew that Wal-Mart had this for 19.86 online, so I took a chance that it would stay that price through release day. It did, so I printed up the page showing their price and took it to Best Buy and they matched it with no problem. That way, I was able to use my Reward Zone and a $10 gift card I was holding onto specifically for this title.

YMMV of course, but it's worth a shot for anyone still waiting for it to ship from Amazon.

Buy Cloverfield at Target as they have a 90 return policy when the $19.99 Amazon version comes in.

Still waiting for Weeds Season 3 and The Eye to ship from Amazon. They typically go out Monday...WTF?

I only saw The Eye at Target - not Fry's. No Weeds S3 at Fry's either but it was at Target.

I believe Cloverfield and TWBB will both be $24.99 at Target in their new ad Sunday.

Cloverfield was 29.99 at Target here this morning, didn't buy it of course. I was surprised to see Blockbuster had this and TWBB on Blu today, took a week after street to get Bee Movie in on Blu.

I had those 3 pre-ordered before the bundle sale with the later release date showed up... got Amazon CS to price-adjust them & they all arrived today (as did the rest of my BD orders)

FYI - Best Buy's online prices from some of this week's releases are cheaper tha the ads.

I just ordered Weeds S3 for In Store Pickup at 26.99. Ad says 29.99.

Cloverfield is 27.99 on their site vs. 29.99 in the ad. Probably the same with TWBB.

This is what I'm going to do with Weeds: S3 -- I can wait on all the others I pre-ordered but are now delayed.

They don't have Next, either...mine still hasn't shipped.

The Eye was delayed shipping until today, too.
