Can Region 4 HD DVD's play on my HD A2 player?

yes. HD DVDs are not region-coded.

They're welcome to try, I have receipts that show exactly what they said they would charge, so if they charge more, I'll contest the charge with my CC provider. No biggie.

Oops, just checked my receipts, shipping charges aren't specified, just a vague statement about shipping charges being added "as appropriate". No problem, I'll do a screen grab of their shipping page.

The "cheaper in the cart" phenomenon is due to the exclusion of GST, which is included in all of the prices shown on the regular product listing page. International customers do not pay GST, so the "cart" price reflects it's removal. You'll see the reduced price once you've logged in, and can see it either in your cart or if you click on a title to look at the detailed info.

I do not know the exact rate (and am too lazy to Google for it), but the reduction comes to approximately 9% from the listed price. AU$9.92 on the product page shows up as AU$9.02 in the cart.

Don't forget shipping, which will cost at least AU$65, or as much as AU$90, depending on whether 10 single items ship for the same price (AU$25) as 5 or if it's that price doubled....

I hear ya, brother. I was crowing last December about getting the HD HP Box set from B&N for $50 after a coupon and a discount and a magic genie helping me out.... and I threw/gave away everything except the movies. Now I see I can order the 5 titles in proper cases (albeit with big Yellow or Blue Aussie rating labels) for slightly LESS than what I paid.

There's no chance I'll double dip, since I've already got the movies in their own custom cases.... but I'm still tempted.

Just FYI: I did this the first time and they actually combined them and charged $16 for the four so i actually save a few bucks. i did one order for two and another for one item ten minutes later, so we'll see what they do with this.

worst case is still under $10 per title...and really can't be beat anywhere. and that's the WORST case :)

i'm resisting looking for more at this point....deals are just too good. i'm very very tempted on the harry potters.

Strangely, I ordered Total Recall from EzyDVD a few weeks ago and they only charged me $3 AU for shipping instead of the $5.50. Of course, I wasn't complaining.

Can anyone confirm what the shipping price is for >5? I'm struggling with how many to order based on the uncertainty of the shipping price for >5...

Everythime I check to see if my order has shipped another DVD is listed as "Currently out of stock" so at this rate it won't seem to matter what shipping is because they will all be sold out :hairpull:

My Circuit City had a big bin with about 50 HDDVDs left in it.

They all rung up at full price.

I just ordered Four Brothers, Born on the Fourth of July, and the 5 Harry Potter's from EzyDVD. Billed shipping was only $13AU, Got all 7 HD DVD's for $57.24AU! I ordered them yesterday, and they shipped today.

If any of you are in Puerto Rico, don't bother going to Circuit City. Although they have a very big selection of HD DVD's in stock, all of them are priced at $25 - $35. :rolleyes:

just curious about the star trek set from ezy dvd......will the standard def side be a region 2 disc?
