Does anyone know about the Australian versions of Miami Vice and Smokin' Aces? These are the last 2 I'm looking for, but I'm pretty certain they're not combos. Which means no theatrical and director's cut for Vice.

Warning for CC sale...
YMMV, but my local CC informed me today that they will not match the 50% discount for discs purchased prior to the start of the sale on Sunday. Something about it being a percentage off sale rather than individual prices. Furthermore, they told me that, although I could return previously purchased titles on Sunday, I would not be able to immediately re-purchase them because they had to be "bumped." They'd put them back on the shelf hours later, I guess. So, make sure you talk to someone before buying before the sale.

One more question with ezydvd... Are these HD DVD's compatible with all HD DVD players? To my understanding they are, but before I put in my order, I want to make sure.

If that isn't the mini, then what is it?
FYI: The set is now up to AU$34.83.

Circuit City to send back HD DVD titles soon?
I have seen a couple of postings today indicating that Circuit City may be following Best Buy's lead in sending back all of their HD DVD stock. Supposedly, it is happening after next week's 50% off sale.
Just a heads up...we'll see if it turns out to be true or not.

Damn...i broke down and ordered Into the Wild from Amazon yesterday and it shipped today! $25 too
I'm going to return it i guess...that's not too difficult with them is it? I can get it from Eazydvd with Out of sight for $23 shipped!
Yep...came out $2 cheaper for Into the Wild and Out of Sight than Into the Wild was on Amazon.
Question: I'm assuming this is the standard disclaimer, but it asked if I was sure I knew I was getting Region 4 dvds. I know the films are NOT region encoded, but are the extras? I assumed everything on the HD DVD was region-free, but just wanted to clarify.

Yes, on the combos the SD side would be Region 4 PAL. so avoid those. doesn't seem to be too many of them in AUS though....less than in the US. Which is good.

I picked up all of the Harry Potter movies, and Hot Fuzz at my local Walmart. Great deals, but they didn't have Pan's Labyrinth. If any fellow Canadians have PL or can pick up an extra copy for $7 and want to help a fellow Canadian out, let me know and I'll PayPal or EMT the money.
And if there are any other good Canadian HD deals, can someone PM me? I almost missed out on this deal
