Yup, now I don't feel so bad about the $16.99 I spent on Thou Shalt Not Kill! Great disc, lousy movie.

Shit, Spiegel even contributed to the extras on Intruder...you'd think Don May Jr would send him a copy.
Whoa, I didn't even know about that. Thanks for the heads up.

TT should get Savini to autograph 100 or so, that'll get sales moving briskly.

It's been discussed in the Twilight Time thread here.

Lucky man, you need to post pics of your collection both movies and memorabilia, you seem to have a lot of cool shit.

Can't believe how good Twins of Evil is selling on Amazon, currently number 3 in horror, at $22.46

I guess I'll have to start checking that thread. Looks like they have some interesting releases.

It's already out on Blu-ray. The upcoming version of Maniac loses the second disc.

Re: Blue Underground and Synapse Films to release on Blu-ray

I've been out of the film/home media scene for awhile, Adam...

I've been going through all my older HD-DVD/DVD's that I've been waiting to replace with BD's (after having 3 kids, movies have been the least of my priorities), But now I'm struggling to get back into it as my interest in films from 3 years ago have changed.

But a large majority of films that I was looking to replace have already come out and gone OOP or I'm missing large runs of releases. (Criterion Collection)

It's quite embarrassing and challenging to say the least.

I guess I have to start somewhere...

To think a few short years ago, I used to sell thousands of BD's online a month. Oh how the tide has turned! lol

Why are you embarrassed? You are responsible and handling/taking care of your own. Nothing to be embarrassed about there.

Most people in the past would flame me for not searching before posting...

There is so much stuff that I've just fallen off the planet with when it comes to disposable income purchases. I've been really paying attention to markets and trends forecasting to make sound business decision's with my personal wealth and growth margins.

Now that things are inline - I feel like I've missed out on a ton of personal, me time.

But it puts into perspective what really is important, and when things aren't always about self indulgences. The growth in life and the wisdom that you acquire along the journey, It's complete self awareness...

Re: Blue Underground and Synapse Films to release on Blu-ray

From the Blu-ray.com review of Django Kill...
The high-definition transfer often has a harsh digital look, which more than likely will distract viewers who project their films or use large screens to view them. As it has been the case with previous Blue Underground releases of cult Italian films, there is a decent dose of scanner noise, but this time there are also traces of noise reduction corrections. Needless to say, detail and image depth are compromised
BU used to be one of my favorite companies, but I'm about ready to write them off completely at this point. Between the questionable upgrades, botched transfers, and endless, redundant DVD repackagings, this has been a year to forget.

Shit. For a second I thought there was some life still running through the corpse of BU.

As much as I'd like to support Synapse on that release, I'm much more keen on the Uk's 3-film set on Blu.

I wasn't sure where to put this as I didn't want to start a new thread...

Code Red is going Blu in 2013

Starting with The Electric Chair & Nail Gun Massacre
