I'm definitely in for the Argentos, and Zombie has been on my to-watch list for some time now...

None of those are appealing to me, personally. They have lots of stuff in their catalog that I would happily upgrade, though.

I'd buy The Exterminator and Intruder. Who owns the rights to Exterminator 2? I'd love to get an uncut HD release of it - I've only seen the washed-out VHS, which I believe was edited anyway.

That Fangoria article also mentions Thou Shalt Not Kill...Except coming in 2011, so hopefully that will be a Blu-ray release as well. I've been on a real exploitation kick recently, so I'm all for this kind of stuff.

Looks like the BD carries over a lot of the big LE DVD extras. Might have to upgrade eventually.

After reading Don post this on AVManiacs (from April 2010):

http://www.avmaniacs.com/forums/show...&postcount=960

I am definitely excited about their release of the film.

Here's hoping Synapse eventually re-releases the original Coffin Joe trilogy on Blu-ray.

Re: Blue Underground and Synapse Films to release on Blu-ray

I'm looking forward to upgrading to Blue Underground's Inferno after being kinda disappointed by the filtering and all on the Arrow disc. Their disc still looks pretty good, but there are some shots that are so distractingly "video" that it completely takes me out of the movie. I'm sure Blue Underground's will look a lot more filmic.

I had also heard mixed reviews over at the AVManiacs forums, which kept me from purchasing the disc.

I'll probably hold out for the BU disc.

Re: Blue Underground and Synapse Films to release on Blu-ray

I did not have any problem with being taken out of the movie at all. So much more bang for the buck with Arrow, too.
