Still, even from the ratios posted, it reads like people bought American Gangster and borderline-nothing else, and that's kind of how it always is. One sale from one store can put a title that's been out for months in the top 10, and that's because it's such a day-and-date driven medium. People primarily buy the one or two high profile releases that came out that week, and sales plummet and are completely scattershot from there.
Well said.

That includes Bee Movie and apparently Cloverfield as well. Many features may be dropped from Cloverfield if the rumors are true.
Where are you getting that profile info from? BD profiles are up to "snuff". PIP and internet activity are available on 2.0 BD discs that have already been released. If they release the Cloverfield BD with less features it's because they couldn't get the programming done on time to switch from iHD to java, not because it couldn't be done on BD profiles.

I'm still seriously ticked off at Para****. As an dual format owner, if they are not gonna be releasing There Will Be Blood on HD DVD day and date with the SD, they better release it on Blu that same day or else, THERE WILL BE BLOOD.

It was "consistently outselling HD DVD" by a few thousand copies per title for those in the Top 10 each week, and barely a few hundred copies for those in the 11-20 spots. Once you go beyond the Top 20, titles for each format are literally selling in the dozens or less.

But hey, "We sold 14 copies to your 7. That's 2:1, baby. Eat that, HD DVD!!!!!!"

Where is the proof of that? What month has sold less then 10k copies of discs total between both formats?

Also, what does ANY of that do to the fact that HD DVD is a dead format and support for it is now non-existent in the form of its main backers? Does saying those things make you feel better when you look at your wall of red cases?

How is that Molog on Saw IV? I wouldn't know because there is not a 2.0 Profile Blu-ray player out there TODAY that can even play that feature.

Regardless, its gonna suck to get all these possible barebone Blu-rays because of Paramount. Guess they will just double dip us later.

Tired of the us versus them. Closing.

If I were to ban or suspend...oh, I dunno, six people, this forum would be so much more pleasant.
