All 3 of these have dropped to $22.95 during the new Amazon sale, so I just requested $15 back. All 3 for $32.51, unreal. I fucking love Amazon.

Judging from my experience, it'll be another chance for me to get Last Samurai, Four Brothers, Con Air, Gone in 60 Seconds, and many other semi-decent catalogs at $17.99.

At the Warner Bros. online store, they have Torchwood Season One Blu-ray pre-order mispriced, I believe for $59.95. The retail at BBC America shop is $99.98. You can enter code WRNM for 20% off, which knocks it down to $47.96. If you order something else that puts it over the $50 mark, you get free shipping also. BTW, I have had good experiences with WB over the last few months.

Deep Discount's semi-annual 20% Off sale seems to be hitting next week.

Unfortunately, their Blu-Ray prices, even discounted, seem high compared to deals offered by Amazon, Best Buy, and the Warner Brothers online store right about now.

Yeah, was just looking at their prices. You save nothing with this special.

That said, does anyone know the cheapest place to find "There Will Be Blood"? How about "Sleepy Hollow", "The Italian Job" and "Sky Captain". I checked DVDpricesearch.com, but there always seems to be specials and online stores they don't list. Thanks in advance.

Actually, the price is $41.95. Would this series make a good blind buy? I'm planning on getting a blu-ray player soon and am thinking about ordering Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles, Pushing Daisies, and Torchwood.

Do they have any other good deals on Blu Ray titles? I may pick up a PS3 around now if that's the case... seem's like it could be a pretty good deal.

You might want to recheck the math on that one.

How is the That's Entertainment set? I was thinking about getting that with the WB store coupon. I could get that and Dark City for about $55, which is the same as paying the regular Amazon price for TE and getting DC for free. I just have the first TE film, not the sequels on DVD, so it's not a complete double dip (and the DVD was a gift anyway).

However, I read that some are being charged sales tax. Is that everywhere?

Ugh. Amazon raised prices on almost all HD DVD movies. Stuff like Sleep Hollow is $20.95, while Warner raised Blade Runner to $24.99. WTF?

I thought Amazon didn't resort to these tricks. But it looks like they're bumping up the prices of their HDs so that they can give us something like a 50% off sale on HD week at Amazon. That's the way it works, I guess....

Oh they always resort to those kind of tricks, at least they don't alter the MSRP like some sites/stores.

Probably a future BOGO. I still have a handful of discs I need to pick up in HD DVD...but unless there sub $10 I'll pass. Its kinda funny to see Paramounts BD titles now cheaper then their HD DVD titles.
