Fry's is having a 2 for $30 sale. That usually means that all of the movies included in the sale are $15, so you can buy 3 movies if you want.

The following Blu-rays are on the list:
- Fifth Element
- Run Lola Run
- Hitch
- Black Hawk Down
- Kung Fu Hustle
- Hellboy
- Gattaca
- Resident Evil Apocalypse
- Final Fantasy
- The Patriot
- A Knight's Tale
- Memoirs of a Geisha
- Underworld
- Life of Brian
- Resident Evil
- Dracula
- Zorro
- Dogma

See, sale prices only went up 50% from their previous $9.99 sales on the same titles. That said, I may pick up Gattaca at that price.

If there was a Fry's near me I'd grab Dogma and Run Lola Run, but alas I don't; here's hoping a similar deal will surface.

I'd also want Hellboy but I'm afraid some double-dip Sony-nanigans will happen when the sequel comes out.

Hellboy has a high bitrate AVC encode with a Lossless PCM track. Chance of a double dip is slim to none IMO.

As mentioned above it looks and sounds great. I had the 3 disc set already for the extras and grabbed this for the HD. Won't need to buy it again.

Plus it has the director's cut and the full length documentary. I agree, I don't think it would be double dipped for a long time, if ever.

The only time Hellboy might be double dipped is when the sequel would be released theatrically but I'm not sure how much they could improve it considering the current release has an awesome lossless soundtrack and a very impressive transfer.

Since there was no printed Best Buy ad (online only) this past Sunday, Speedy didn't list the ad in the Bargains section for this week, but there are some BD buys available this week.

Save $10 on the following BD titles (reg. 29.99) now $19.99

Gone Baby Gone
Justice League: The New Frontier
Cars
Happy Feet
TMNT: The Movie
Pirates of The Caribbean: Curse of The Black Pearl
Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Pearl Harbor
Apocalypto

Only 60% off the inflated MSRP, and I'm thinking those titles will be $10-15 each soon after release, or $20 for the combo.

Don't forget that Fox is supposedly reissuing the first AVP movie with BD Live and PIP later this year, if that sort of thing appeals to you.

Maybe this was a deal w/ amazon on their part to help get rid of all the first pressings of AVP.

Then they would've adjusted the price on AVP.

This becomes a decent deal if you have or can find the $5 off Blu-Ray coupon from BB. It can be found online, the printed one I had worked fine. They should also have some in the store, just ask at customer service.

I got Gone Baby Gone and Cars for $15 each. 2 separate transactions.

Remember last month when Fox lowered the MSRP on a bunch of catalog titles? They are all back up to $39.99! WTF???!!! I was all ready to buy a few on Amazon for $19.99 and they are all back up to $27.95! Even when Fox briefly does something good they still manage to screw it up and suck again in short order.

Not sure which Amazon.com you're shopping at, but the one I just went to still has the same Fox titles with the same lowered list price of $29.99.

Maybe we're looking at different titles:

List: $39.99 Cost: $27.95: Man on fire, Me Myself and Irene, Mr & Mrs smith, Wall street.

Those were all $19.99 a couple of weeks ago

Those are not ones with the reduced MSRP - those were just part of the 50% off sale amazon was having - half of 40 is 20.
