I wonder if that laptop is at least decent? I could use another, as mine will end up dying on me when I need it the most for work.

Is Blood Diamond worth an upgrade? (Picture and sound)

imo, yes, the sound is phenomenal and the image looks about how you'd expect. It definitely isn't perfect, but I found it to look pretty damn nice on my setup.

That said, I have yet to see an HD-DVD that wasn't a substantial upgrade over DVD, though I'm using a not-so-common sized screen (around 110 - 122")

There's tons of Wal-Marts around you- why the hell would you go to Cecil County to shop?

Unless the link you provided is a fake, why is this an unsubstantiated rumor? It's right there on the page for $98.87 .

It wasn't on the page when he posted it. Only the computer was... the hd player just went upon that page today.

The way things are sounding like, it is going to be as bad as Black Friday. Crazy! We shall see.

It's most definitely going to be akin to Black Friday, at least in my area. There has been a lot of press and radio coverage of the early sales. I'm guessing everything will be gone within minutes, except perhaps some of the HD-DVDs.

These titles were already marked down today at my local Wal Mart...they didn't have a sale sign up or anything, the sticker on the rack just said $14.96 as if that was the normal, everyday price.

Not a huge selection at my store though - the only $15 titles they had were Sleepy Hollow, Italian Job and Failure to Launch. I decided to pass. Might hit a few different stores tomorrow and see if I can find Lebowski

If Batman Begins were $15, I'd go for it but the titles shown either aren't that great (IMO) or are available as a part of the free mail-in Toshiba deal.

'eh... looks like a list of catalog titles that should SRP for less than $15 anyway. Call me when new releases are $15.
