I called Circuit City and told them I have an order confirmation number, but a status as pending, and was curious as to whether my order had shipped or not (I paid for Express shipping.) After telling the rep my order confirmation number, she said that that was the web confirmation order number (sent Monday morning in the 2nd email) and is not the same as an order number. She said she was going to request that they honor the $19.99 price and gave me a case number to follow up on.
So it appears I'm not out of the woods yet, even though I received two emails from CC. One acknowledging my order placed with Express shipping on Sunday night at a price of $28.98 with an order status of pending, and the second email early Monday morning stating that my back/special order had not yet arrived, along with a order confirmation number. Furthermore, my order does show on their website when I log in. I guess time will tell as to whether I receive one or not...
