I actually thought I was up there with 140 HD DVD and 43 Blu Ray. I feel inadequate

You're in the same ballpark as me number wise. For some reason I tend to buy all the HD-dvds no questions asked, but I havn't touched half the Blu-Ray stuff because of lack of interest and price. Go figure.

Like most consumers, $20 is my cutoff point. If a BD is a catalog title and something I want (Big Fish, etc.), and it's 19.95 on Amazon, I'll pick it up without hesitation. There haven't been too many new releases on BD I've wanted.

HD: 104

BD: 54

I've probably watched somewhere between 50% and 75% of them and have been very pleased with most. I most recently watched "Night at the Museum" and it was a marvel of picture and sound quality. As much as I hate to admit it (since I despise Sony for multiple bad purchasing experiences) BD has had more eye and ear popping releases IMO.

I still have a few outstanding pre-orders not counted yet but I plan on ordering a ton coming out on 5/22 and 6/5.

I have 20 HD-DVDs. I'm more of an classics/art house/foreign film watcher, so there aren't that many releases that interest me.

OK, managed to get some (poor) photo's taken. I have photo's of all of them, but its probably best to only show a few.

Some of the HD-DVD's

Some of the Blu-Rays

All of them piled up together

There are more photo's if people are interested, but they aren't that interesting to be honest.

You should get some sort of shelf so it can be more organized and nicer looking.

I have a couple of thousand DVD's which currently have the organised shelf space. My HD collection is the poor relation at the moment.

I've been running into the same problem with shelf space and my solution has been to start kicking the dvds to the curb.

Exactly what I've been doing. If I had the SD-DVD version and I buy the HD DVD/Blu-Ray version, I've started selling the SD-DVD

Also look for a random closet/room. That's what I'm doing with the HD collection. I have the 5 current shelves for SD-DVD so I started a new shelf in my walking closet for the HD films. Working just fine so far.

Anyhow, I received yesterday.
