I'd like to see David Fincher's "The Game" get a blu-ray release. Mulholland Drive too.

It isn't even in theaters in the US until October, and I'm guessing it could be considered for Oscars submission. You'll probably have to wait until next spring.

I would like a decent sounding widescreen matted version of Tom McGuane's '92 In The Shade.' The Netflix/Amazon VOD versions have awful sound quality and are presumably sourced from old 4x3 TV masters.

QUIZ SHOW (1994) Blu-Ray????

A quick search for Blu-Ray related discussion turned up nothing, so I figure this film really deserves some attention.

Nothing since a crappy non-anamorphic bare-bones DVD release back in 1999. So this is long overdue for a release. Any word/hints on a possible BR release? It appears that there has been an anamorphic R2 release in 2002.

A solid film worthy of proper treatment. And important from a historical context surely.

It's been nice getting six Coen Brothers movies on Blu-ray within a month now I'm hoping that we'll get the rest of them soon (The Lady Killers, Intolerable Cruelty, The Man Who Wasn't There, The Hudsucker Proxy, and Barton Fink).

Dragnet. Was just checking out my DVD tonight after not having seen it in many years and would love to see this in hi-def with 5.1 sound. I still have my VHS copy which was autographed by Alexandra Paul. Dan Ackroyd was on fire in this movie.

Re: Your Blu-ray wish list / "When will _______ be on Blu-ray?"

Looks like it's time for another updated list, as many from the previous one have gotten released, or are about to within the next couple of weeks/months. And since updating these lists seems good luck in having that happen, here we go again...

- That Thing You Do (with the extended version of the film, too)
- Empire Records
- Eddie & The Cruisers (and what the hell, even "2")
- High Fidelity
- Head (in a separate release, and not part of the box set you can only currently get it in)
- Rock Star
- Singles
- Mallrats - (had an HD-DVD release, so what's the hold up with Blu Ray version?)
- Bring It On (there are Blu's for some of the sequels, but not one for the original, and best?)
- Gross Point Blank
- Splash
- The Three Musketeers (1970's version, along with The Four Musketeers, as well as the 90's version)
- Tequila Sunrise
- To Sir, With Love
- Fandango
- Some Kind Of Wonderful
- Pretty In Pink
- Sixteen Candles
- Less Than Zero
- The Party
- High Plains Drifter (my favorite Eastwood western, and one of the few not yet on Blu Ray)
- The Wraith (too bad Lionsgate couldn't have done a Blu Ray release when the re-issued the DVD a couple years back)
Phantasm - Box set

Any news regarding WITNESS on Blu-ray?

Any news on WITNESS (starring Harrison Ford) being released on Blu-ray? it's an Academy Award-nominated movie, yet I don't think it's been touched since the last DVD release over five years ago.

It'd be a good one for Criterion to release... Paramount doesn't seem to have much interest in it (along with most of their catalog titles).
