Oh they're doing it, and Soderbergh is back again too. Personally I'm waiting for the cast to start dropping out after doing do so many sequels, thus forcing them to do prequels like "Ocean's Five" headlined by Scott Caan with stock footage of Clooney so the title will still make sense.

If they can make it better than the junk that was Ocean's Twelve, I might be able to take another one.

I guess I'm the only one who liked Ocean's 12.

Hmm, looks like Pacino is in it. This one might be good. I was disappointed with 12.

I'll pick up Dracula. That will have a ridiculous PCM track that's for sure. I hate Lost so they can keep that.

I thought it was hilarious and clever, but the other 5 or 6 people I went with hated it. I don't think we're the only ones, but probably in the sure minority . I'll be picking this up on HD-DVD first thing.

I just can't stand Soderbergh's "I want to work with big stars!" movies. Ocean's 11 happened to be good (except Julia Roberts, who made me wretch), but he seriously needs to do more bizarre underground stuff like Schizopolis.

I liked it up until the whole Brue Willis/Julia Roberts thing.

It's making movies like Ocean's 11 that allows him to make movies like Schizopolis or Bubble.

They don't have to have a million stars in them to make money. I liked Out of Sight, which had a few stars in it, but it wasn't overloaded. It was about the story. That's why I gave 11 a pass, because the story was good. 12 was just about how many cameos could they throw in.

My point was that Soderbergh couldn't get funding for his experimental vanity projects if he didn't play nice with the studios and crank out a financially viable picture every once in a while.

Very similar to what Clooney does now.

No doubt on Dracula, another Superbit to retire! Hope the PQ reviews are good... Fox is cool, but I don't trust the Sony BDs yet.

DVDEmpire just put up The Sopranos: Season 6: Part 1 for $91 (MSRP $129) on Blu-ray and HD-DVD.

So this Part 1 crap means it's not even the whole season? Doesn't look like I'll be picking up much TV on hi-def

It does, but in fairness, they haven't aired part two yet.

Since they literally don't have a single wave of releases announced after this (just a couple of day/date releases), I'm hoping we hear something before the week's out. Maybe even today.

Its the entire season that they recently showed. Its 1 episode shorter than the previous seasons (12). Basically, HBO threw enough money at David Chase to extend the 6th season by 10 episodes (or is it 8??). They will be shown in March I believe (unless its been delayed).

So, basically, your getting 1 episode less than the previous 5 seasons.

That's like me not going to the gym during the summer - the time when it's most important!

The Shield is doing something similar. Season 5 of the show was only 11 episodes rather than the usual 13, so the next season will be called "Season 5 Part 2". I think it's a pretty stupid marketing gimmick, personally. the 11 episodes had a full season arc with a beginning, middle, and finale.
