has there been any rumours or news if Universal will ever release the Extended Cut to HiDef Disc - I would love to own a HD-DVD edition that holds the entire 201 minute film without a disc switch, and have the extras ported to a second disc. The inclusion of TrueHD or DTS HD would be the icing on the cake

That said, i would pick it up if they actually included extras in the next release. For now, they're not getting my money.

Anyone with an A1 not having major playback glitches? Batman did this a few times, but on King Kong the freezes and glitches are really bad. I gave up on watching it an hour in. Is this a problem that needs a firmware update to fix or is this a case of some of the Kong discs being defective?

^I have had no glitches with playback, save with the M:I box set, which had defective discs.
I'm still running firmware 1.4 but Toshiba is sending me 2.0, so I guess I'll see if that makes things worse, a major concern of mine because one can't go back to 1.4.
I don't have King Kong, so I can't say how that one works, but I have never had the slightest problem with Batman Begins.
