The currency converter I used calculated BoTW to be just under $30 shipped to the US.
Does that sound correct?
Thanks!

Don't like subtitles 'eh?

IMO, it's definitely worth a blind buy regardless! *fixed LOL!
Just ordered it actually.

I found the answer to my question. It does have an English track.

The English dub on Brotherhood of the Wolf is hilariously bad. Not just because the voices are ridiculous (and they are), but the dub script is just awful.
Instead of: "The man who shadowed him was a mysterious foreigner" (Quote from the subtitle script of the superior Canadian DVD).
The voiceover narrator in the dub says: "As for the man who followed him like a shadow he was a foreigner and you knew nothing about him".
Huh? "You" knew nothing about him? Which "you" is the narrator talking to?
It's like when you buy a foreign DVD with awful English subtitles translated by someone who barely speaks the language, but this time they hired actual voice actors to read the incoherent lines out loud.

^ I'm not very sure because the sendit link doesn't specify, but most probably they have English subtitle because the same title is being sold at amazon.uk.

I noticed that Underwold: Evolution is coming to HD DVD in Spain. The release date appears to be April 25. Anyone know of a good place to order this? DVDgo.com was going to be like $60 with shipping. I'd like the HD DVD, but not that much. Thoughts?

Alternative 1: Spend $60 Get Underworld (I'm guessing Xploited will charge the same or more).
Alternative 2: Spend more money and try to maximize your shipping costs.
Alternative 3: Buy a PS3 and go format neutral.

I would like to go neutral, but refuse to buy a PS3 and am hoping for those new lower priced players by the end of the year to make the move.

.....especially since we're going to see all kinds of scientific comparisons, tests, debates, etc to the BD version.I'm anxiously awaiting another Mpeg2 vs VC-1 rant using Screen Caps that are magnified 1000x.
You'll also have some users (with money to burn) that simply bought it for a single viewing and will quickly dump it on the exchange circuit.
For me spending $60 is hell of alot easier than spending $600.
Plus, I'm fan of the series + Own HD-DVD.... so it was an instant buy.

Let's say I decided to buy the following (Prices reflect VAT removal)
21,51 eur - The Brothers Grimm (HD-DVD)
21,51 eur - Miami Vice. Theatrical Edition (HD-DVD)
21,51 eur - The Pianist (HD-DVD)
26,72 eur - Underworld Evolution (HD-DVD)
17,10 eur - Shipping to Area E

108.35 eur ~ 146.34 USD
So you're averaging about $36-$37 per HD-DVD.

^^^ That's a pretty good deal (minus the Miami Vice, which you could get cheaper here). Do you know of another not available in the US movie to put in the place of Miami Vice available on that site? That might make it worthwhile.

Of course another factor for you might be special features. As I recall (which, admittedly, ain't none too good sometimes
) this import HD DVD carries a whole slew of features which are also found on the US standard-def DVD, but curiously absent from the BD.
