YES, I used the coupon. I got creative and printed on both sides, but they took it with ease. It actually scans...well, they had to type the number in, but it took it. Excellent deal for $160.

Also, does anyone see any issues with putting the HD-DVD on TOP of the 360? It fit there best on my rack....I was going to put it on my DVD player, but the DVD player was not that deep.

I also got this today. I only watched a few minutes of King Kong but wow, it looked incredible. Can't wait to watch it and M:I:III

Quick question: how do you set up the 360 remote control so that when you hit the eject button it will open up the HD DVD player instead of the 360? Also, are there any display option settings for the HD DVD player that I can tweek? I couldn't seem to find a setting menu.

So far, this thing has been well worth the money. Can't wait to really dig into it later this weekend.

For those who have the drive, have you tested the picture over VGA and component?

My closest Circuit City (1 mile) now shows the add-on in stock. I ordered mine from Robert at AVS and it arrives Tuesday. I'm dying to see Kong in HD, but I think I can wait a couple more days. I think...

I will have mine today. I'm going to order some VGA cables from Play-Asia.com and I'll post a comparison sometime in the next week or so.

Sadly, there is no way to have the Eject button actually work for the HD drive...weird, eh? They just packaged the normal remote in for free but never gave us any option on the dash to change it. I assume a patch will come out soon enough.

No 'display' options unless you mean in the 360 dash.

I just picked one up at CC too, along with Goodfellas. They weren't on display, so the guy had to go in back to get it, and then they had trouble entering the coupon upc code., but finally someone got it entered right.

Gonna hook it up later tonight - can't wait!

I went to my local CC and they didn't have it... the kid went to the back and came back out saying nothing's in... probably didn't even look. ugh.

oh well. i went and picked one up at Game Crazy for regular price. I can't wait to try it when i get home tonight. Gonna watch Mission Impossible 3 first.

OK my plans were canceled so I hooked it up. King Kong looks awesome! I did notice that if you FF and then go back to play it stutters. Badly. Anyone else experience this?

It must have been a fluke as I am unable to replicate it.

Ok, Kong looks great, but I was so surprised when I saw Army of Darkness. I didn't think the movie would look that sharp and amazing. Hello HD DVD :)

Also, I notice no increase in noise from the HD DVD player. I have no idea why people say that the Xbox 360 is loud. Though it does make a sound, you can barely notice it once the movie is playing. Seriously, when you go see a movie in a theater, don't you hear the projector?

I bought VGA cables today...bleh. SD and HD looked alot worse.

Thanks to you and your coupon post, I saved $40 bucks on my XBox HD-DVD Drive.

I was on the fence, but when I figured King Kong would cost $30.00 and the XBox remote is another $30.00 . . . I guess wound up with a HD-DVD player for $100 bucks.
