Alien and Star Wars, maybe?
I'd imagine he will wait for one format to win, then for it to achieve a fairly sizeable market penetration. Love that word, penetration.

That's my guess.

Lucas waited forever to put Star Wars on DVD.

Apart from our old friends LPCM, Dolby Digital and DTS, Blu-ray will use Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD (aka Dolby Lossless) and DTS-HD. In the near future, all those signals will be routed via the HDMI cable to a compatible receiver. Then, sound quality will be identical to that of a current DVD-Audio with an MLP track.
In the meantime, you can continue to use the coaxial or optical cable, and the Dolby Lossless signal will downmix to a high-bitrate Dolby Digital signal.
Have I explained myself?

I'd double dip on both Sky Captain and Fifth Element for Blu-Ray. Nothing else on that list interests me though.
However, I'd be interested to see how many discs they need for the Blu-Ray Stargate Atlantis set. I'm not interested in that show but if it's going to be the first tv on blu-ray it might set the tone for disc count.

Actually, before this gets to out of hand, this probably means the new Dolby Digital Plus (or whatever it's called), which is fully un-compressed audio which can only be sent by HDMI (v.1.3) outputs, or the multi channel output of the player.
Currently, the HDMI output that send out this un-compressed multi-channel audio have nothing to connect to, but I'm certain that new receivers will be announced by Denon, Pioneer Elite and other high end companies at CES.
Most important to remember is don't panic, there will be a backwards compatible audio track on these discs, so they will play on you current A/V receivers. Either through standard DD or the multi-channel input of you receiver.
I'll find out more when I go to CES this weekend.

Alternately, I'm sure you can use the analog outputs on the player, just as with DVD-Audio or SACD.
In other news, Video Business magazine has a special Blu-ray insert here: http://redigitaleditions.com/ActiveM.../rvd060102.asp

Are these releases set to include a lot of extras (docs and commentaries and such carried over from their DVD incarnations), or will they be predominantly bare-bones? I'm just curious if they're going to try and repeat the DVD marketing scheme of starting out with mostly bare-bones releases and then following up with better Special Editions down the line. If so, that seems especially transparent considering the wealth of extras they already have available to use.
