Whoever your third-party ad services are, I highly suggest you reconsider them and only use the better ones. The high-risk ad sites pay you more because they put your valued consumers at risk. In the end, you will lose your community and the adholes will make theirs, moving on to another website who wants to make a fast buck.

As an aside, DVDTalk's website is now behaving like a typical questionable website, where the page loads continuously with new scripts from outside sources. I cannot recommend DVD Talk to anyone because of this until it's fixed. And I have referred a lot of people to join this site due to the rich collection of moviegoers.

I stopped using the mobile version of the site months ago when these problems were going on. Tonight on my laptop, I've been redirected multiple times to some junk sites. Someone please make it stop.

Has anyone here tried using a duo of Firefox and uBlock Origin on their phones? I've been doing that for a couple of days, no issues. (Big corporations are running Adblock and Adblock Plus, by the way. Get rid of them.)

I never got ads on my desktop and laptop, either, regardless of the browser and ad-block extension.

Still only get redirects on the iPhone. Site is stable as can be in Google Chrome (I have Adblock, Malwarebytes Free, and Spybot Free running).

I can assure you all that it was not I who clicked on the same page over and over and over. I even just sat there and observed how much longer this would go, and it just never stopped.

It has been bothering me for a while why the pages on this site keeps loading (the spinning circular motion in Windows) seemingly forever, only yesterday did I finally discover what kind of dastardly scam was going on in the background while I'm reading the threads.

DVDTalk has honestly already reached the bottom of the barrel status for me now. Despite being a long time user, I don't think I can tolerate much more of this kind of abuse. Constantly reloading and redirecting click-thrus ads in the background is not OK.

It's systemic with the forums that IB owns. They are using the same ad system for all of them. After months and months of complaints we are still no closer to a fix.

Still happening. Just got nailed by get-today com for another Walmart gift card. This is so frustrating !

It's a headache for many forums on mobile. Even plenty that have no connection to IB at all (such as AVS Forum and NeoGAF) are suffering with those stupid gift card redirects -- even the same URLs, such as that get-today.com one.

Doesn't make it acceptable... After how many months of the re-direct issues it's pretty clear IB rather get the extra money from the bad ads than deal with the issue.
