#1- Didn't notice it. Mostly because people want to reference what they're talking about

#2- Err, sure

#3- If you ran a forum you'd apparently be loose on personal attacks and tight on anyone daring to respond to something other than the topic at hand. In this forum, it is more the opposite. Que sera sera.

Because otherwise this forum would degrade into what nearly every other forum on the Internet is.

Are you shitting me? You've got to be. You just can't be serious.

1) I own every David Bowie album. Some of them I have multiple copies of due to different releases. I even have two different releases of his box set. I've seen him live five times. He's grabbed my hand during a show. So, of all the people at this board, I would know that "Heroes" is an album as well as a song.

2) Bowie doesn't frequent this board, and even if he did, he wouldn't give a rat's ass about whether or not I acknowledged that "Heroes" is an album as well as a song.

3) again

You mean this?

It's a very good film. You get a sense of how revolutionary and exciting the whole Ziggy thing was.

However, the picture quality for whatever reason isn't super great. It's not a problem with the transfer, it was probably because they filmed it with 16mm in combination with the stage lighting at the show. So be forewarned. The sound, however, is fantastic.

I've seen the film several times and it never gets old. I even saw the remastered film in a theater in L.A. when it was re-released. WhoGirl and I watched it the other night and she loved it.

Re: Ziggy Stardust

It's amazing. And having seen it before, the restored PQ is a vast improvement. It was shot very guerilla style... I was at a screening of the restored print when the director spoke and he talked about the incredibly seat-of-the-pants style of the production. They had no control over anything and no planning period. And it came out amazingly great.
