As has been the policy for as long as I can remember, discussions over banned members are handled over e-mail. Of course, for as long as I can remember, there always seems to be a thread about it anyway.

While we do not discuss administrative action. I can say there was more to the banning than just this sole comment.
Rule of thumb. How about not making jokes at anyones expense.
