Aaack
This is the second time in ... oh ... maybe 2 years that I was clicking too fast ... and clicked on the "clear fields" button instead of the "submit" button
Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is there anyway to recover the info ??? There was no "undo" function that I saw ...
Does anyone really use the "clear fields" button ???
Ok ... I admit it was a stupid mistake on my part ... and now that I have done it I will be more careful ... which should take care of the problem ... until about a year from now when I accidentally do it again ....
So I thought I would post this "suggestion" here ... just for your consideration.

I think, as you say, getting rid of the "clear fields" button would be the only way to go (if such customisation is possible).
I <i>sometimes</i> lose stuff but if I am composing a lengthy post I usually do it in Notepad so at least there is a back-up.

Stupid IE will clear fields when you hit the Escape key, too. I learned that one the hard way. This won't happen if the Clear Fields button goes away.

I also know the feeling of frustration you get when you accidentally hit the clear fields button. Get rid of that function, it's easy enough to delete something without it.
